  • Hi just a quick question

Thanks to this site, i've been offered nearly £4,000 refund on PPI for my Natwest Loan!

I am over the moon with this, but was wondering.. on the acceptance letter I signed and sent back to them, it said they would make the payment to my Current Account within 28 days.

Its now about 20 days since I sent the letter back and still no money, but they still have a few days so i'm not too worried...

I was just wondering if Natwest do pay it back into your Current Account as they say and not just credit it to your loan balance (which I have and am still paying back)

Just the money would come in vv handy right now!

    Thanks in advance

First of all Well done and Congratulations on your success.:T:beer:.

If this is what their letter stated then they should pay this directly into your account.
However some so refund towards active loans, but not all, so just keep checking your bank account and you can always give them a call if your worried about this, good luck, hope the money is with you real soon.;)

Got my letter today with the actual settlement figure for my BOS PPI. 4200, pleased as about 500 quid more than I thought it would be. Brother in Law is a builder so going to do up my bathroom and kitchen as he will get me all supplies at trade cost and not taking anything to fit it. Happy Days.
Hamish can i ask how long this has taken from your first letter, my eight weeks are up and i received a letter to say they are sorry they have not yet made a descision but it is with a senior customer relations manager and they hope to have a descision soon. Should i give them another 2 weeks or just go to the fos?
  • Hi everyone, just a quick update on my PPI reclaims. Lloyds would not admit the policy was resold so will have to take that one to Ombudsman.

Capital came back with one offer of a few hundred quid which we rejected then came back with a full and final offer of £923.83.
My boyfriend is delighted! The thing is they have said upon receiving the signed settlement form they will refund it back onto his capital account despite us stating in our earlier rejection letter that we wanted the PPI refund to be sent in a cheque.

Im going to write back AGAIN and say we accept the PPI refund but we want a cheque for this. Anyone else had this problem and did they then get the money back in a cheque?

    Thanks

I had PPI refunds from RBS/Natwest and they were made straight into my current account where the direct debit is taken from.

It might be worth calling your case Officer and checking that they received your acceptance letter and then asking for an estimated payment date.

    Hi Trolley Dolley

Fingers crossed with the Lloyds case then, funny thing is my hubby had 2 credit card ppi mis sold clases with lloyds, the 2007 case was resolved through the first adjudicator and he has more or less the same reasons but more on the 2001 case, this one lloyds did not get back through the adjudicator, and has been moved on to the ombudsman, which is still in fact in the waiting system for the ombudsman to investigate, the adjudicator upheld this but lloyds did not respond, however there is more to be owed on this one as well.

Great news on the Cap one, Congratulations.:T:beer:

Your doing the right thing by asking to have this paid directly back to you, especially if there are no arrears etc, good luck and please keep us posted.;)XX
