yes they seemed to be quick to agree they had mis-sold but slow to make the payment, I have called them everyday. I will let you know when they make payment, they did not ask me for id.0

I had a balance of £5588 -- total PPI £37i7 -- after Tax - £3576....... the Bank are refusing to reduce the original balance.. and still paying monthly on this Credit Card -- current balance is £2988 -- should have been 3 years ago £2574..... I have repaid £2600 ......... Bank is refusing to reduce original balance saying that I want the penny and the bun /.......... also stated that if I want my balanced reduced to 2012 then I should keep paying my monthly installments!!. I say that if I do that then I am repaying the compensation I received!0

Are you saying that the whole balance on this card was PPI and interest on that?.
Are they still taking PPI every month?.
Did they take your redress off the card?.
If you are a non tax payer or, the the interest they paid did not take you over your current limit for tax. You can apply to HMRC to get this tax back.0 -
Hi everyone...not sure if this is the right place to post but I'm hoping someone can help me please. It's regarding claiming back from Experian. I wrote a letter asking for a refund explaining that I had been a member since April 2011 to the present. They have responded and have enclosed a cheque for £6.40. Is this right? I thought they had to refund every month until 2014? What is my next step??? Can someone help me please?? Thank you. X0

its not the right place as Experian never sold PPI. Either create a new thread or post on the general Experian thread.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). You won't get your balance reduced unless you apply the cheque I assume they sent you to your account.
Thy are right. If they reduce your balance you have effectively been refunded twice. Your redress will have included any interest applied due to the PPI.
WHat did you do with the cheque they sent?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Having received a letter saying my complaint was upheld I have now been now been told it was settled in 2007 (which I can not remember). Does anyone know if I have any redress. To send me a letter offering to make the redress and then being told over the phone it will not be does not seem fair, I can understand them not wanting to make payment twice but I have pledged the money to charity.0

Ask them for the proof that it was settled.0

I've decided to have a look at my old credit cards etc so I sent off ppi form to mbna got a reply saying it was being looked into anyway I got a letter saying my complaint was being upheld and they had worked out they owed me £27.71p whoopee
I gave them 2 account numbers to look at but I know I have numerous accounts with mbna and one account had big balances along with big ppi added each month
so do I send another letter to say can you investigate my other accounts please
I cant find old statements for the other accounts at the moment I have a feeling I binned them as I got depressed looking at them0
