Am glad i ever joined this forum. In february i got a letter from Lloyds TSB asking me to fill in the completed forms in order for me to complain! I first thought its one of those companies which want to make a quick buck. But after some days i completed the form and sent it off. By Easter, I was quids in cos i got £1500. Upon visiting the bank to deposit my check i noticed they had also deposited another £762!. A week later i got 3 cheques to the tune of £5685! I didnt expect anything but it has solved so many outstanding debts! These are loans and credit cards i took out longtime ago. So am thinking of chasing up all the other cards i ever had!! Although some of them are closed accounts and with the Credit Agencies.0

Well done on your other complaints though!:T0 -
If only they could accept to refund, and then pay themselves back, so much the better. Thanks for your response.0

I have today got home yo open a letter from them saying my complaint has been upheld & they will pay me £2'323 in next 28 days.. Thank you sooo much for your help & forms & this thread!!!! :-)0

In the last week received £22,000.00 from well known lender for PPI taken out by my late Father. The bank concerned were extremely helpful during the whole process.

Hello all.
Just to let you know, I started my claim this week.
I didn't really know where to start. I knew i'd had multiple loans with the bank over the years and credit cards. I, luckily, managed to find 3 old loan agreements with PPI added in pre-ticked boxes. I'd read on here about SAR requests but didn't really know where to start...so emailed the CEO of the bank.
Within an hour, I had someone on the phone from the executive branch asking if I wanted to make a complaint. I asked if they could look into all my old loan accounts and credit cards + mortgage. within 2 days I got 3 seperate envelopes with claim forms and a cover letter for each, listing every different account number! turns out i'd had 10 loans over the years and 5 credit cards!
Filled in the forms, sent photocopies of any suspect pages of the loan agreements I had and have asked them to investigate every account number they have on file for me in a covering letter back with my forms.
...I am awaiting their reply.0 -
Towards the end of last year I received 4 separate letters from CPP advising me that I may be owed money . I had to complete some basic details on the four separate forms, including why I felt the PPI was mis-sold. Each letter had a different reference number but did not say to which bank/card the claim related. I duly sent them all off, one a little later than the others (by 2 weeks or so).
Early last month, to my delight, I received 3 cheques refunding the PPI. They amounted to around £160 in total, not a lot but well worth having as they helped pay the bills.
I've still not heard about the fourth, so assume that if one doesn't received a reply it means that the claim has not been granted. Has anyone else experienced similar? My husband, who received 2 such letters in the same week last year as I did, duly returned his forms but has received nothing.0 -

Have your reasons ready as to why you were mis sold this PPI, Single Premium is one reason, this was where the PPI was repaid back each month in with the loan payment and you repaid the PPI to the loan end with interest.
You may have had cover elsewhere, life insurance a good sick package, show you had no reason to have this PPI.0 -
Hi Guys, I started trying to reclaim PPI in Feb this year after reading all of your success stories, I assumed I would have to ues a claims company but after reading how to claim on here I thought I would try myself and im sooooo glad I did, I downloaded the template ( filled in ) 10 times!! thats how many old loans/c.cards etc I could find.
3 were unsuccesful = £0
4 were successful = £3900 ( already cashed the cheques ) :j
3 waiting after sending off the £10 they asked for.
So far most have been very helpeful esp Barclays who have paid out and then got in touch to say they have found another old loan and do we want them to investigate?? Hell yes :T
Sainsburys are being a bit coy but I think thats because they cant find any details of our old loan they say theyve " misplaced " the old records!!
PLEASE PLEASE DO IT YOURSELF :beer:0
