Just phone the FOS and tell them to try and hurry them along.
They usually have 8 weeks to pay you anyway, I waited 11 weeks, so don't worry, it will happen.

I just re-read that, you've had a complaint with the FOS and have been waiting for 7 years for a decision?

Hi..have had offers from my 2 outstanding complaints that both went to the FOS about 20months ago. MBNA credit card £4450 and Barclaycard £ 7755. Thanks to all on here for all the info and help.

My total refunds over the past 2 years are approx £50k

Stay positive..claim if you think you have a case. DO NOT use a claims company . Do it yourself.

    Good luck

hi i found out monument was taking over by barclays )not barclaycard) so i sent my documents and claim to them had no problems and got paid my charges and ppi quite quickly i read on this site that barclays did take over goldfish so get your claim into them hope you get a good result.
  • thanks for that
i am myself claiming ppi charges from barclays for goldfish ppi ,although i posted my claim to barclycard they could not find my goldfish account ,then went to the ombudsman and they have sent my ppi letter to barclays instead ,hopfully with some luck ,so what you say it right ,wish me well

  • Thought I would sign up to MSE and post on a forum.

My dad applied directly to RBS for a PPI refund for a loan he had on a car. He recieved a letter about 1 week ago stating he will get a £3,000 cheque.

Had my sister not nagged him for weeks and weeks, he would not have done it.

This saturday just gone, he opened a letter to see RBS had responded about his claim for credit card PPI. He is now waiting for a £10,000 cheque from them!!! So within 2 weeks, he is £13,000 richer.

I am now looking through my previous car finance as it is worth a try, but my dad would not have done it unless my sister nagged him so if you are in two mind, please do it as it could be you getting £13,000 in two instances.

Best of luck to everyone, thought I would share the news!
