  • Just looked at some of the paperwork and I cant see anything on there apart from FISA, DFB(?) However it did state that I could be entitled to some of it back as we paid it off early, but then we got the ombudsman involved, and subsequently now getting nothing at all....

Hi there, I too have paperwork with FISA (different company though), does yours also state anything about the FLA, the leasing association?
When my case was let down by the FOS I was told to get in touch with the FLA, but they did not deal with my case either, its so frustrating.

  • First i would like to say thanks to all the people that left their stories on this website. They made me claim my partner's money back.

Will try to sorten the story. My partner had a loan with RBS and we decided to pay it off to tidy up our finances. Only to find out that he had a PPI.....I was so angry....turn to this website to find some help and i did. I write the letter to the branch manager, then they pass mewith the customer relations team then with the PPI team, i write all the letters(using template), fill out questionares, etc for them to say that i was unsuccesful. Went to the Ombusman F Serv and they agreed we were right. My partner is ever so happy with his money back!!!
Just keep trying until you run out of options....its worth it!!!:D

Forgot to say that it took more than a year from the first letter to the bank to actually get the cheque in the post :rotfl:

At last payment of ₤2,775.60 has been paid into my account today! I returned the acceptance form on the 23rd March. I'm still waiting for ₤274.56 for another loan PPI to be paid in. The acceptance form for this one was returned on the 13th March so hopefully should also be paid very soon. I'm one happy Easter bunny!!!! :j

However, I'm STILL awaiting a proper response from the FOS regarding my claim against Loans.co.uk which has now been with them coming up to 15 months. Have written, emailed and left telephone messages (received just one call back weeks ago and an 11 word letter acknowledging safe receipt of my letter!!!). They're either all dropping dead from exhaustion or see my name and go into hiding!!! Getting just a little fed up with this one now.
