They should look at all of these, see what reply you get from the one that you have sent in, if you get an answer and they have just looked at the one loan then put the claims in for the others and make sure that you put all the reference numbers and enclose
copies of statements that you have.
Let me know how you get on.
O K ! Thanks your advise, as soon as I hear or reply from them I let you know.
Thanks.0 -
My wife took out a loan with at ppi from Barclays four years ago, despite me telling her at the time not to. I never thought much about claiming for miss selling because I wasn't sure she had been miss sold.
A few weeks ago I decided I may was well submit a claim on her behalf and used the forms and letter templates from this site. I posted the letter on the 27th October. We got a letter back from Barclays a few days later to acknowledge the claim. Last Wednesday when my wife drew some cash from a machine the balance on the receipt was far more than she expected and it wasn't payday
I logged on to the internet banking and Barclays had paid £609.51 into her account. It just said PPI refund plus interest. :j
A week later we still have not received anything in writing from Barclays.0 -
Told the OH I'd joined this site and had been reading up on miss-sold PPI. I downloaded the template letters and gave them to him....
What were you reclaiming: PPI from loan and credit card
Who was the provider: Co-operative Bank

Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: One letter, less than one month ago.
Couldn't believe his luck. I'm going to have a go now. Many thanks MSE!0 -

Well done! Can I just ask what address did you send your claim to and how long before their first response? I have an old associates card and I am trying to find the address.0 -
What were you reclaiming: PPI from loan
Who was the provider: Tesco Finance
How much did you get back: £3,581
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Actually Tesco contacted me!!
Well this was a surprise. Tesco Finance sent me a letter asking if I'd been mis-sold PPI. I planned to reply but was going through a busy period at work so plain forgot.
Tesco then sent ANOTHER letter asking if I'd got the first letter! I filled in the questionairre, popped it in the post and waited for the long drawn battle... Lo and behold around 3 weeks later they confirm PPI repayment of both loans I had - £1,700 each. No hassle.
I had a similar thing from Tesco.Turns out I had taken out five loans since 2003 (all repaid, thankfully) and they are refunding the PPI on all amounting to a wonderful £4136.16!!:j!
Totally unexpected by bloomin' fantastic, all the same.0 -
Thanks Hollowhead
I sent my letter to Citifinancial Europe PLc PO Box 49944, London SE5 7YG. They first replied a couple of days after I sent them a basic letter saying that I thought I had been missold PPI. Then they chased me up when I hadn't sent back the questionnaire after a couple of weeks. I sent it back last monday and got my letter today telling me what they owed.0 -
Apologies as this is slightly off topic but I want to warn as many people as possible about this company who prey on old people. If anyone can give me the correct place to warn others I will be happy to post there.
My elderly father received a call from a company called AIMSREVIEW who proceeded to sell him a "membership" costing £250. As he wanted to make a will out and they offered that service he agreed, a week later without signing anything he realized he already had one and phoned up to cancel and ask for a refund. He was refused and told he was locked in until Nov 2013. He then received a PPI reclaim form from them, he doesn't even know what PPI is let alone ask them to act on his behalf. I called yesterday and told them I wanted a refund for him and ended up speaking to the rudest manager I have ever come across who said he agreed to it so tough luck. Having read posts on other sites this is not an isolated case. I am going to take it further to get his money back but want to warn others of the despicable tactics these PPI claims firms use to get business....0 -

Give the claims regulator a call and see if they can help, this is disgusting, tell us who they are, name and shame the company.

I would make a new thread of your own, you may get more help with this and others may have experienced the same thing.0 -
