PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Include the 8% then it won't come back to bite you, I thought from your first post that you had an arrangement with Nram for this loan, if you have other creditors in a plan that includes Nram, you should contact whoever the plan is with and let them know about the win, you are correct in that you cannot favour one creditor over another so the whole win may go to the plan that you have.
See how Nram pay you the money first, they may send it to you direct as you requested, if they don't then take it from there.
Whatever happens, make sure that Nram take the whole PPI off the loan balance, this will reduce the debt to them and you will clear this sooner.
Thanks for reply, yes I have an arrangement to pay with NRAM, straight away as soon as I left work, I have a few other creditors too, but I am not paying a DPM company to manage it (if you know what I mean) also I cancelled PPI in 2008 before I left work when I realised I could get the same product for £13pm I was paying £73pm, and they rearranged my loan, I will just have to wait till money arrives, you have to include money owed to family too, so they will get their percentage too, thanks for the input0 -
Can you someone assit me.
I received a letter from RBS stating they would not uphold my complaint. Apparently I took my credit card out on line in 2003 and I did sign the credit agreement which they have send me a copy off, however apprarently as I signed this, this was also me taking out payment protection insurance. The form they have sent has a box with YES in the payment protection box, but it does not state if I indicated this or not or if I this was preset at yes and I should have changed to No. They have also sent me a copy of the policy document which is the first I have seen. They have also send a copy of my statements clearly showing I have know I have PPI but to be honest I dont pay attention to my statements. Is there anything I can do?
What was your reason for complaint? Obviously, an online application severely reduces the chance of a successful complaint as most of these do not involve advice or sales. You are largely reliant on a technical failing.
Timescale can be an issue. People seeing a transaction they did not authorise tend to complain or raise it within a very short period. Those people would be very credible even if the evidence points against them. You have waited 9 years. That reduces your credibility and makes you appear opportunistic. Not paying attention to the statements is not the provider's fault.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. As you have a arrangement with Nram they will pay you the win as you requested it, you then need to contact them and continue the arrangement, they will do this.0 -
Barclaycard have written to me saying they didn't buy inactive Egg Credit Cards, so who do I claim PPI mis-selling from? Can anyone help me trace where to send my claim. Thanks.0

Cheers hun, the fact that you probably started paying ppi before me, you should be awarded a little more simple interest.
Well how's this for coincidence!!
Came home from work today and had two letters from Genworth sitting on my doormat :-)
Both PPI claims upheld now they claim they have found my details and agree PPI was missold :j
Not massive amounts but just wondered if this sounds correct?
Card 1
Paid £74.35 in PPI from 3/6/99-11/6/03
Interest they are paying me is £54.07
Total redress - £128.42
Card 2
Paid 54.96 in PPi from 8/12/97-`7/2/00
Interest £48.53
Total redress - £103.49
Does this sound correct - I thought the interest seemed awful low but am not sure how to work it out so any assistance would be appreciated0 -

Arh right, so they started charging you ppi as from 1999 to 2003, that maybe about right then, if mine was charged from 1998 to 2005, that is possibly about correct.
And the one you paid for the year looks about correct too, just going by my interest.:T:T
Maybe our amersall can clarify on this one just in case.
Well done and Congratulations hon!!:j:j:beer::beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Just wasn't sure if compound interest applied to store cards or if this was only relevant to credit cards?0 -
The letter we had did not give a full breakdown detail like yours.
Maybe someone else dealing with it lol, but I can recall the mistakes they kept making on sending double statements out, and like a fool and naive back then and without questionning I still paid......:o, but questioned it after we moved house, there was lots of mistakes, so we think the refund includes the overpayments made as well.
Have to dig them out to re-checkThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I do know ppi interest to that of a store/credit card to that of a loan.:D:beer: they calculate it differently I believe, so the interest is less. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
