Does anyone have an up-to-date mailing address for Universal Credit Ltd (formerly Greencoat Place, London SW1P 1PL) as I need it to send in a PPI claim?
Also, does anyone have any information on a company called Royscot Financial Services Lts (formerly George House, North HanoverStreet, Glasgow G1 2NY), ie parent company, current address etc.
Sorry to come in with loads of questions on my first visit but I'm hoping someone can help

Hi all,
Please bear with me as I'm a newbie.
I have had a claim upheld by BH to which I have sent back my acceptance form for nearly 3 weeks now. What I would like to know is what are the recalculations they are talking about. Is it for each day until I get my payment, or is it for the overall figure that they offered
me in the first place.

Do u have a loan with them now? As the could meen they will knock the refund off that and recalculate your monthly repayments on that. If not give them a call n ask what they meen xx0 -
Hi all,
My friend had a loan with BH and applied to reclaim PPI to find that they were refused because BH said they knew that they were signing for when they took out their loan. After 13 months of waiting and eventually going through a credit agency they have now received their long awaited payment. I was very dubious about claiming my PPI from BH as I had several loans from them in the past all which have been paid in full. However I took the bull by the horns and applied on 02/08/12. On the 22/09/12 I had a letter from BH informing me that my complaint had been upheld. I telephoned them this morning where they told me a cheque would be sent out in 3 wks time. I am so glad that I didn't let my friend's story put me off and hopefully it won't put others of either!:T:T:T0 -
No I don't have any loans with them now as they were all paid in full by 2007:)peanutbutter_cups wrote: »Do u have a loan with them now? As the could meen they will knock the refund off that and recalculate your monthly repayments on that. If not give them a call n ask what they meen xx0 -
Hi Coburnm,:)I have just received an offer of £6317.50 from Marks and Spencers. Made up, anyone no how long it takes to receive a cheque
I found out today that my cheque would take 3 weeks from the time they received my signed acceptance form. This usually amounts to 30 days in total but some businesses differ. When did you send back your signed acceptance form?0 -
What were you reclaiming: credit card
Who was the provider: Barclaycard
How much did you get back: £1310.24
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Initially phoned on 26th August then was sent the questionnaire to fill in and send back. Form sent back on 2nd September
And then write your brief reclaim tale. I decided to reclaim my PPI after realising that I was paying it. It was only due to Martin and this site that I realised what those payments were for. I phoned barclaycard to cancel the PPI and they asked if I was putting in a claim for the PPI, I said yes and they sent the form out. I am so happy and the amount will pay off the balance on the card and leave me with a bit extra. Many thanks to everyone on this forum and I would encourage everyone to go it alone, it's not as scary as you think.0 -
I put in a claim to Barclays to refund PPI paid on a loan taken out in 2007 (still running), my complaint has been upheld and they have agreed to pay me £1558
I'm chuffed to bits as this brings my debt free date around 3 months ahead of schedule!
I have a question if anyone can help, I actually received 2 identical letters offering the refund (I've looked through thoroughy and they are exacty the same), one sent 28th september and one sent 1st october. I have only sent one of them back as I assumed it was a computer glitch...can anyone tell me whether they received 1 or 2 letters, and whether I will be ok just sending one acceptance back?
ThanksSAVING house deposit! :A0
