  • OMG!!!!

Got home from work just now to find a letter waiting from lloyds TSB saying 3 out of 4 PPI complaints have been upheld for the amount of £5465.59 over the moon as I was expecting a letter asking for another 8 weeks. Thanks to this website I have been given my money back.

Complaint put in - 20th June

Letter received dated 21st Lloyds saying looking into complaint - 26th June

Call from Lloyds asking to confirm my complaint 26th July

Letter received today 10th August - 3 loans upheld

Money should be with by the 17th Aug in cheque form or into my bank. 8% Interest paid up to the 17th August.

Now just to let the Tax man know :-( don't know how much I'll have to hand over???!!!

Hope this helps all you others waiting for your money! Don't give up get back what is yours.

Will be following up the 1 that didn't get upheld as lloyds saying I cancelled the PPI in the 30 day period (not sure about that but will look into)
  • The RBS are really playing avoidance tactics. Before I complained I called Nat West to confirm when a credit card I own had started and if I had PPI right from the start..I only had statements from 1999 which clearly show PPI. A gentleman told me that my card started on 23/8/93 and it had PPI from the outset. Plus the card is still live and had PPI on it up until last Saturday, when I cancelled it. I had a letter on Saturday from RBS to say that after their 'investigation' they had "no evidence of PPI Insurance being included with your loan due to the passage of time"...so I phoned Nat West CC straight away and the lady was able to tell me all of the details again, right back to '93 and suggested that if she could see them on her screen then they could they could easily find the information!! I have written to RBS again so I will see soon if they discover the information.
Hi,these heel diggers have done this with us ,sent the loan agreement with the questionnaire. I couldn't believe it when they said there was no evidence of ppi.I have sent four years statements to them last week so I will let you know the outcome think I will have to phone shortly, grr Was your ppi front loaded?

  • Sent 2 letters on 16th June to Barclaycard and Littlewoods Credit Card claiming misselling PPI.
    Result:
    Barclaycard: £2, 345
    Littlewoods Credit card: £6 368:j:j:j
MSE:A as I used your template letter and forms.
    Awaiting 6 more:)

It was a Directline personal loan, saying there was no ppi added on the loan when it was blatenly in black and white from the copy of the agreement sent got my blood boiling.Aswell they put the ppi in husbands name when it was a joint loan, not sure if that's another reason for mis-selling
