  • I have just recieved letter from CT capital with breakdown of my ppi refund. They stated they have upheld my complaint in full and will be looking to put me back in a position had I not been sold the ppi. As I settled my loan early after 10 months I was given a percentage of my ppi back as it was front loaded. However I was still £4500 worse off so when I remortgaged to settle the loan it meant that I had to add this additional amount to my mortgage therefore I have been paying the interest on this amount on my mortgage since then. My refund details does not include a calculation for this only the 8% standard rate for the time they have had my money. We're do I stand with this? Is it worth challenging them for this or would I be wasting my time? Also they have said that I should receive my refund by the 15th November !!!!!! Is it usual to wait this long. Really would appreciate some advice

This is full redress, you won't get any more.

Seems to be appearing more and more lately. There is no FOS guideline on this, but an E-Mail to their CEO might do the trick.
  • Thanks moneyineptitude but surely I should be compensated for this as they are not putting me back in the position I would have been if I had not had the ppi it doesn't seem fair. I am being left financially disadvantaged:(

Full compensation is 8% simple interest. You won't get any more.
