I can't post a link on here but anyone read the Guardian article dated 13 June regarding Barclaycard PPI claims. It says all those prior to April 20th will be automatically refunded. No questions asked?!
Hubby sent his 2 BC questionnaires off to them end of April so we just miss out! Have had one rejection, haven't heard about the other even though it was in the same envelope as the other one.0 -
Hi All
This week I have contacted my local lloyds tsb bank to ask how I go about claiming my PPI back on a number of loans which I have had over the past 10 years. I have given them all the policy numbers and reasons for why I am putting my complaint in. When I had two of the loans running I had life insurance and critacily Ill insurance cover so feel I should not have been sold the PPI. On another loan the advisor verbally informed me that it would be in my best interest to take the PPi out to better my chances of getting the loan. How do I stand as this was a verbal conversation and it's my word against the banks, what chance do I have?0 -
Some great news from my first confirmed response to various PPI reclaims.....
All PPI refunded together with interest on 5 (linked) consolidation loans with Halifax between 2001-2010!
I'm now £19,400 happierthanks to everyone who helped me pluck up the courage and energy to fill in the questionnaires on here

If I have my current account with HFX (and have done throughout the 2001-2010 period, and on the basis that they have admitted liability for all PPI being mis-sold, is it worth my while pushing for bank charges and possibly, other forms of compensation now? :question:0 -

We are the same sent 2 forms at the end of April time, had 1 rejection letter but when rang to ask if the letter covered both claims we were told the 2nd one has been upheld and given the figure offered over the phone, still waiting for our letter to confirm it though. Don't understand how they can reject 1 and uphold the other as we used the same reasons for both? StrangeGood luck with your 2nd one.

Hi there
Well done on your offer.
I've never had any direct dealings with these, so maybe someone who have will post up of their own experience soon.
Did the offer come with the letter to explain, and if they upheld or a goodwill offer?
Hi,
No there was simply a letter saying this was full and final payment and cheque.
I am not sure if they are trying to just send the cheque expecting me to take it then the matter to be closed.0 -
