It was around 6 weeks from the 'received your complaint' letter.0 -
Egg took pretty much the full 8 weeks for ours (front loaded loan from 2004, £3.3k win)
Hang in there, hard I know but will be worth it!
Still waiting for Egg card (transferred to Barclaycard, paying since approx 2000)0 -
Ive got my fingers crossed. Was it being front loaded your reason for complaint?0

Hi all,
HSBC originally declined my claim, for a biazre reason that although I had good sickness cover through my employer they stated if I had there PPI the money from my employer would be in my pocket.
Anyway FOS agreed with HSBC initially, I asked them to look again and gave them more info, since my complaint was originally declined by the fos there was that court thing which seems to have made the banks uphold more cases the not.
My case adjudicator has confirmed this week I have raised points they need to address, does anyone know if the FOS are likely to reverse there original decison and did the rulling make it more likely they may do?
I know its a long shot but im keeping my fingers crossed this will turn out in my favour
many thanks for any guidance anyone can give me0 -

Okay first succes on a PPI Reclaim from Egg. They confirmed on Friday but they have no figures on their system to tell me how much my complaint is worth.
The original loan was 8th July 2004. For 16,000 plus upfront PPI of £3687.36 over 84 months. Total pay back would of been £28289.52 (oh my god I can't believe I allowed myself to commit to that but I did).
Anyhow in January 2009 I went into a DMP and have been paying a lower amount ever since.
Does anyone have any idea how I would work out the potential win? I presume I would get the whole layout back plus interest??
I have been so patience with my claims as been on it since March and it grows arms and legs however am enjoying the challenge, however now that I know I have won one I am a right fidget as I don't know how much I got back.
Can anyone put in out of my misery, or at least share their own experience on front ended ppi wins.
Thank you.:D:D:D:j0
