    You are very welcome x.
With the letter for the one you have won, you need to find out why the redress has gone to the loan and the whole PPI removed back to the loan as they owe you money, let me know what the calculations are and take it from there.
When you get the response for the 2 you are waiting for, if they are not upheld then post on here why they rejected and we will help you get back in touch with them, if it is not a final response, if it is a final response then you send the complaint to the FOS.

letter from citifinancial dated 21st may (recieved 13th June)
    £1306.66 total PPI premiums (a)
£975.18 plus interest on premiums paid (b)
    £1051.62 plus 8% interest (c)
£306.67 less any previous rebate (d)
    total award of compensation £3026.79

They state "for the purposes of your refund, we have calculated all associated loans together, those on which you have topped up.as your account has a balance (£4452) owing. we have used £3026.79 towards the default amount".
I had 3 loans with them 1st £5400, 2nd £14700, 3rd £18400. It seems their calculations only refer to the first loan, although they have said its all 3 loans, and on the letter they have all 3 account numbers.
I contacted FOS for advice and they said they would act for me to get the interest/have default amount PPI taken off.
i have no info in regards to these loans in regards to how much PPI was on 2nd and 3rd loans. My head is like spaghetti, should I just pass to FOS to deal with. They also state this is their final response.
    Thanks

Hi everyone, few weeks back phoned up the claimline for First Plus. We had a loan with them about 10 years ago, which was paid off early, this had PPI. We have received a letter to say they are looking into it, then the other day received another letter to say we will hear their response by 5th July. Anyway, yesterday received another letter to say they are paying us, wait for it........ £10,600! :j Have sent the acceptance letter back and they said we will receive a cheque within 4 weeks. Thank you so much to this site, I never would have made that phone call if it weren't for reading the advice on here.

Well Done :rotfl:my cheque from first plus was with me within 5 days of me sending back the acceptance form x

That's excellent! I wasn't sure how quick they would be at sending out the cheque, can't wait to receive it, still feel like it's a dream to be honest, I really didn't expect them to offer anything, I thought they would be a tough cookie! :D We sent the acceptance letter straight back on Friday, I went in the post office to send it recorded, so that I could track it and I know they received it on Saturday, so hopefully we don't need to wait long, got lots of things planned for the money. :)

    Hi all

New on here and just looking for a bit of advice, had 3 successful claims with Lloyds for Ppi but the 4 th claim from my husband for his Lloyds CC has been rejected the claim was for exactly the same reasons but this CC goes back to 1998 so I think maybe will be a large refund for them!

They have said it has not been misold and we can contact them if we dis agree when we tried we were unable to speak to the person who had written to us who investigated the claim! Where do I go from here?

I also have had rejection letter re Debenhams card they have said was not misold as the terms would have been explained to me which they were not.

Finally has anyone had a successful claim against next I have rang to be told there is no PPI on my account but at the bottom of my online statement it clearly shows that if the balance is not paid in full then it will be apportioned in the following way with PPI sat in the list!! Surely this shows I am paying it?

    Hoping someone can help

    Thanks in advance

Credit Card is hard to win as the premium is shown on every monthly statement unlike a loan that is sometimes put on at the start and you pay it back to term end with interest, if you believe that this PPI was not explained to you, they cannot just reject on the grounds "we gave you the info regarding this PPI " you have to show that you had no need of this PPI, if you could have paid the card if the worse happened had life insurance etc, reject the reasons for not upholding and ask that they look at this again, if you win they only go back 6 years, if you have statements showing PPI previous to this then you will have to send copies of these in.
The same applies to the Debenhams card.
The Next card, if you paid PPI on this and you have statements showing this payment coming out each month, send copies of these in.
The wording on the statement only shows how they apportion the amount you pay and does not mean there is PPI unless it is shown on the statements.

The redress will depend on the amount of PPI paid to each loan and how early they were settled, I agree with you, this looks like one loan redress, take this to FOS and ask them to ask Citi for the 3 loans calculations as per loan as you believe they have not redressed all 3 and why they have taken the win off the loan if you have no arrears.
What is the default amount and are you in arrears with this loan still live?.

The loan still running should be reset and your balance and payment adjusted regardless.

Hi when we cleared the loan I was told that we were not entitled to any ppi rebate and so this was not taken off the loan amount
    any help?

When you settled this loan they would have given you a rebate of the PPI and this is taken off the settlement figure, they then put the remaining PPI in with the settlement figure, this is what you get back and the PPI that you actually paid.
It is odd that they did not give you a rebate of the PPI to the loan settlement, if this is the case then you need to complain to FOS.
