How long did you have to wait from the start of the reclaiming process until they caved in?
Also I've just thought, when I rang their dirty tricks department the other day(see earlier post)one of the questions I was asked was "why do you think the PPI was mis-sold,was it affordability?".
I didn't fall for this and I said "I was told that if I didn't take it,I wouldn't get the credit and its a bloody rip-off!"
I'm pretty certain that these calls are recorded and used as evidence as "affordability" wouldn't be grounds for a miss-sold PPI methinks!
started the process abvout 5 months ago draged my feet a little though (around 2 months ) sent the paperwork to the fos about 4 weeks ago so its been pretty quick to be fair !!!!:T

the fos have dealt with it and have said that they are willing to repay the full amount payed on the 2 seperate ppisthey were both loans the 2 amounts are are vthe figures that were on the original paper work ? hope this helps

I have had to contact lloyds just recently to ask them to send me a breakdown of this as mine was resolved through the FOS too (Credit Card ppi), as I did not have every statement to work them out with.

Maybe you could ask the FOS if they could work this out for you, just to be sure.

Mine was to be put back in the postion as if ppi was not taken out plus interest and charges etc.

They should provide the calcs to you on request.;)

    Hi there,

Can anyone help me? Just a bit trepidatious to proceed.... Took out a graduate loan about two years ago with PPI, unemployment cover wasn't given, nor was health cover, yet it was strongly implied that I should take it. I explained that I was on a fixed term contract, but this still meant that the insurance didn't cover me. Does this sound like grounds for proceeding?

Any help and encouragement gratefully received!

    Cheers B
