Right then, its hubby's turn for a win........:D mine the other week :j .
He has 2 Credit Credit Card (ppi) in with the FOS, just had an email to say Lloyds have offered redress on the 2007/08 case and the other is ongoing, so Well done to my hubby -"Scooby" :T :T  :T :T , this one is not going to be so high as the 2001 case but basically he will be receiving all his PPI made plus interest as from 2007/08.
Watch this space......... for the other as the adjudicator upheld that one as well.:D
Well done to you and your husband di onwards and upwards:beer: :j :rotfl: :T0 -
I got home today to find a letter on my doormat, addressed to me. After 12 weeks of waiting and numeric calls to RBS and the FOS, i finally got my refund out of Lombard at long last. Thanks to Di3004 for your words of encouragement, and to everyone telling they stories on here, both good and bad. Most of all thanks to Martin Lewis for making this all happen. Now on to tackling Welcome Finance, wish me luck.

Hi there Darren
Well done on an offer:beer: :T  , was this for 2 separate PPI's?
Sorry if i missed other posts on this, but the amounts can vary.
Is this for a loan or credit card ppi?
Do you have statements to show what the amounts would be?
And is this a settled or ongoing account?
You can always request a breakdown of this hun, of how they worked this out.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Also I've just thought, when I rang their dirty tricks department the other day(see earlier post)one of the questions I was asked was "why do you think the PPI was mis-sold,was it affordability?".
I didn't fall for this and I said "I was told that if I didn't take it,I wouldn't get the credit and its a bloody rip-off!"
I'm pretty certain that these calls are recorded and used as evidence as "affordability" wouldn't be grounds for a miss-sold PPI methinks!Never skimp on Shoes,Tea bags and fishing tackle!0 -
