    Helloooooo!!

Just to let you know, hubby rang to say I have letter from Northern Rock advising me that even though they feel that they sold me PPI correctly, they are going to refund my premiums paid including the 8%......WOW, I can't believe it!!! :j

Not sure on the fugure at the mo, will check the letter when I get home and probably ask Turbo for confirmation ;)

I sent the stage 1 letter on Feb 7th, so all in all it's taken just over 5 weeks!!!

Thank you so much to Di, amersall and max for all your help.....you all are truly amazing peeps!!! :T :T :T :T :T

Just waiting on Cap One now

What were you reclaiming: PPI for Personal Loans dating back over 7 years
    Who was the provider: HSBC
How much did you get back: £10,200which is the total PPI I had paid plus interest at 8%.
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Just over 6 weeks after sending 1 letter covering six old loans plus 1 existing Loan
And then write your brief reclaim tale:
After being introduced to this websitedecided to give it a go and so I wrote to the HSBC to request a refund on the basis I was mis-sold the PPI insurances in the first instance and that the policies were all single premium policies...and now I'm £10k better off!!!! That's the most I've earnt for approx. 2 hours work!!!

Right then, its hubby's turn for a win........:D mine the other week :j .

He has 2 Credit Credit Card (ppi) in with the FOS, just had an email to say Lloyds have offered redress on the 2007/08 case and the other is ongoing, so Well done to my hubby -"Scooby" :T :T  :T :T , this one is not going to be so high as the 2001 case but basically he will be receiving all his PPI made plus interest as from 2007/08.

Watch this space......... for the other as the adjudicator upheld that one as well.:D
