Thanks Di, I will contact them again, have you any advise about the mortgage ppi not getting upheld?

Yes, write back and tell them you disagree, and try to give them reasons on why you do not agree with their decision, for example, if you already had protection for the mortgage in place, make that clear to them, or if they just added it and not confirmed you should have been given the option and to look elsewhere, because you now realise you could have gone elsewhere to cover the mortgage and possibly at a cheaper rate, but none of this was confirmed to you.
Also state that you do not feel it was sold in your best interest.

    Good luck.;)

I was absolutely over the moon to receive a letter from NRAM telling me that they had agreed to repay me £2800 on my loan!

Has anybody else recieved payback from NRAM? and if so how long do they normally take to put the cash in your account?

I sent the acceptance letter on March 21....

    Thanks for any help.

    Excellent! Congratulations!

I have not had any direct dealings with these, but sure many have done and will post up in due course.

I would give them approx the standard timescale of about 28 days, if you not received anything by then, chase them up.
You may though receive it at any time from now.

    Good luck.;):T

Thanks, it's probably just a mix of impatience and paranoia that something will go wrong or I'll be dealt a curveball at the last minute and told I'm no longer getting it!

Won't believe it until it actually drops into my bank and I see it in black and white.

Of course, tried to phone today to make sure everything is ok and they're closed for Easter...

    Dear all,

I posted on here about a month and half ago about 5 loans which I had consolidated over time with HSBC. I registered my complaint about PPI insurance with them over the phone and they wrote me their standard letter and enclosed the standard forms to complete. About three weeks later they wrote to me saying my claim on all five loans had been upheld and they would be paying me back over 10k. I nearly fainted. I sent their form back on the Monday and the cash went into my account on the Friday.

Without reading all these threads I don't think I would have bothered- so thank you all.

The even better news is that I finished paying the loans back last year so the money will go towards a deposit for a house.

    Good luck everyone

This is odd!! front loaded is the main reason for mis sell and the most upheld of all PPI reclaim.

What exactly did they say were their reasons for not upholding and was this the final response?.

You defo need to go to fos, i did about a front loaded loan from the black horse, and they agreed straight away that it was misold. I will be receiving £11,000.00+ :) Go for it and good luck :)
