PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

It is only a small amount but I started claiming my PPI from my first loan I had with Lloyds TSB.
They refused my first claim (started in July 2008) so it went to FOS. I have just received a letter to state that although Lloyds agree with their original decision they are going to settle on a goodwill basis and pay back the PPI £130 + 8% interest + £200 due to distress and worry.
So that is around £340 which is coming at a great time as there is a chance I will be made redundant (currently in 90 consultation period(
Everyone who thinks it is not worth it need to keep at it as I also got my sister £700 from GE Money as they mis-sold PPI to her while she was still in full time education and therefore the unemployment part of the PPI was invalid
Good luck to all those still trying.Overdraft (0%interest)- [strike]£1100[/strike][STRIKE] £100[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£60[/STRIKE]
Bank Loan (7% interest) [strike]£6107 [/strike][STRIKE]£2368[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £1490 [/STRIKE]Mastercard (0% interest)- [strike]£4063[/strike][STRIKE]£2900[/STRIKE] £0!!!!!DF Roll of Honour #659

I had a bank loan with HBOS, and after running for two years, I refinanced with the same bank - mmmm too loyal.
I sent off the first template letter and asked for my PPI back on both loans. 4 weeks later - £7400 back into my account!!
I am so happy.
Thanks Martin - You should get a knighthood
