  • It is only a small amount but I started claiming my PPI from my first loan I had with Lloyds TSB.
They refused my first claim (started in July 2008) so it went to FOS. I have just received a letter to state that although Lloyds agree with their original decision they are going to settle on a goodwill basis and pay back the PPI £130 + 8% interest + £200 due to distress and worry.

So that is around £340 which is coming at a great time as there is a chance I will be made redundant (currently in 90 consultation period :o(

Everyone who thinks it is not worth it need to keep at it as I also got my sister £700 from GE Money as they mis-sold PPI to her while she was still in full time education and therefore the unemployment part of the PPI was invalid

Good luck to all those still trying.
    Overdraft (0%interest)- [strike]£1100[/strike][STRIKE] £100[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£60[/STRIKE]
    Bank Loan (7% interest) [strike]£6107 [/strike][STRIKE]£2368[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £1490 [/STRIKE]
    Mastercard (0% interest)- [strike]£4063[/strike][STRIKE]£2900[/STRIKE] £0!!!!!

  • I had a bank loan with HBOS, and after running for two years, I refinanced with the same bank - mmmm too loyal.

I sent off the first template letter and asked for my PPI back on both loans. 4 weeks later - £7400 back into my account!!

    I am so happy.

Thanks Martin - You should get a knighthood

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question. Im going to claim ppi from Capital One, can I include late payment and other charges on the same letter, or does it have to be seperate?
