CAN ANYONE BEAT THIS FROM LTSB.
Sent off a letter of complaint in May 2011.
Claim upheld by letter in August 2011 with no final offer.
Received final offer in November 2011 with interest up to December 2011.
As of today and after numerous telephone calls, still no payment.
Thats what I call total taking the ****.:mad:0 -
Morning one and all! Right here's an update on Hubby's Lloyds CC claim. Last week they found him again and this week they're investigating him!!! I can't make up my mind if this is a stalling tactic or they're genuine (cynic)! Do you think he'll have to wait the full 8 weeks again, or do you think they'll get on with it?0

Thought Hubby's was bad enough!!! Are Lloyds the worst at this sort of thing?
They are!!
they make it up as they go along, one day they say one thing and the next day something completely on the same same subject!
They don't seem to follow any guide lines. It looks like the decisions are made by various members of staff and all depending on what mood they are in, scary stuff! ::eek:0 -

I like the term "under investigation" in Hubby's case!!! What the heck does that mean?!!!!!0

Not sure how they have worked it out but am well chuffed. There were a succession of loans, one refinancing the other from 2001 to 2005 when the last was consolidated into the mortgage. This particular loan was for 3k over 60 months £972.60 was added for the PPI for this period. This was refinanced 14 months later. They have said in their letter that the offer is including PPI on loans that were opened in June 1999. I have no recollection or paperwork with regards to this one. Their offer calculation is a s follows:
Refund of premiums £128.16
Refund of Interest at 16.9% £33.48
Interest at 8% till 11/4/2012 £154.10
=£315.74
The offer tho is £765.22
Not complaining but cant really make head no tail of it. Any thoughts?
Well my first success, still waiting to hear about the other three, crossing fingers. It makes up for the disappointment from MBNA last week.
Thanks to all you guys for the help and HOPE.
Forgot to say, this took one phone call on the 20th of Feb, they took details of all the loans. First response letter within 5 days and then this today.
Rang the Halifax this morning to confirm I was accepting the offer on above and questioned the other claims that I had put in at the same time. A lovely lady confirmed that a final response letter had gone off at the same time as the other. I asked if she could tell me what was in the letter, which she was pleased to do. I could not believe it an offer for the 3 successional loans was £4641.38. Expecting the cheques within 30 days. I am stunned and delighted. Happy days.:j Thanks again for all the support. Good luck everybody. With Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha
