Have you at least had an acknowledgement that they've received the complaint? If so, it'll have a reference number and you can ring them up and ask what progress has been made.Ow! I'm gonna cry now! You can ask them to definitely confirm that the boxes were not pre-ticked at the time of your application, but other than that this looks like a non-advised sale where it won't be possible to claim mis-selling took place.shellnpaul wrote: »I do not remember ticking a box online so I think it must of been a preticket boxed I would not of required the insurance as had sick pay benefits from work. Don't know what to do now is it worth emailing them and tell them I do not agree to their decision or do I just take it to the dos or just give up, please help as I don't know what to do now. Thanks my friend! He rang on Monday which was the 9 week point after me talking to di on here, and they said they would escalate his claim as nothing was showing on the system (whoops)! I was just messing around when I said I was gonna cry LOL That's just my stupid sense of humour I just wanted a whinge LOL. We just have to wait a bit longer I guess I mean they have had an incredible lot of claims to deal with. All good things come to those who wait (and so does boredom) LOL.Moneyineptitude wrote: »Have you at least had an acknowledgement that they've received the complaint? Ok just had a phone call from Lloyds TSB asking me some further questions about my employment at the time and redundancy and illness packages if that were to happen.
Anyone else had this?
Im currently 5 weeks in to my claim0 -
Just means someone is looking at your complaint. I'd be happy they are asking for clarification by telephone, as writing to you would just cause more delay.Ok just had a phone call from Lloyds TSB asking me some further questions about my employment at the time and redundancy and illness packages if that were to happen.

Yeah, hope i gave the right answers (for me) lol
Wasn't expecting any calls. Just a flat yay or nay in a letter at some point. Wonder how long it will take from here.0 -
They have eight weeks to give a full response. Whether that is the end of the matter will depend on what they say and if you take a rejection to the FOS.Yeah, hope i gave the right answers (for me) lol

I was contacted by Claims Advisory group in May last year. I was told that i didnt need the account details of my loans, just my details and the names of the lenders. Eight months, countless forms and phone calls later, CAG were no further forward with my claim. I therefore took it apon myself to spend some time chasing my lenders and within about 40 minutes i had some of the loan account numbers. I stupidly provided these to CAG, who now, after 11 months, have told me my claim was successful (but only for the accounts i provided, the rest are now showing as case closed apparantly???). CAG did not send me an acceptance form from my lender, but an invoice for their 39, yes that's right 39% fee, which i have five days to pay.......bottom line: DO NOT use a claim handler, contact your lender direct and receive 100% of your compo. If you do wish to use a claims handler, make sure you know how much they charge (some charge as little as 14%) and i DO NOT recomend Claims Advisory Group. The left hand doesnt seem to know what the right hand's doing and you end up doing all the work yourself, just to give away almost half of your compo.0
