Someone will post with a number i am sure, on the internet it only gives you an address to put the complaint in, there is no telephone number.Morning, has anyone got a number for capital one pls,. we received a letter from them about a month ago saying they are paying out without an argument, major shock, anyway i did the intial complaint just through an email but the paperwork they sent us we had to send back and stupidly i forgot to take a copy so just wanted to chase this up, thanks0 -
NRAM deal with NR loans now, as your loan is settled, put a complaint into NR but let them know that this is a settled loan and do you still put the complaint into NRAM to deal with, as your account may not have been passed over to NRAM.Hiya,
I was on my experian credit check and came across a loan from Northern Rock I took out in 2007 for 12 months.
I'd forgotten I had even taken this out!
As Northern Rock have been taken over by Virgin, I am assuming that it will be difficult to get the paperwork?
I have managed to get hold of my bank statements from 2007 and it does show DD's to Northern Rock.
Would they still have this info on their database?
Any advice on what to do would be much appreciated.

OMG I posted yesterday about the letter dated 7th March confirming their offer, I checked my bank account last night and it was already in there !!! I think they must be clearing the new cases asap in readiness for all the letters they are going to have to send out to tell people they may be entitled to a refund.0

Afternoon all, sent my first letter to Lloyds TSB yesterday for 2 loans dating back to 2003. Shall try and keep you posted as to the timescales that they take. Thanks for all the bits of advice on this thread, has given me great insight and confidence to claim! Especially when I didn't actually know I had PPI on the 2 loans!:TShirley

Hi , I have just received my rejection letter from egg, they say in the letter they rejected my claim because I applied for the cc online on 19 January 2007 , they state their online process does not require you to take ppi as a condition of obtaining the card, does not provide an advisory service, required you to positively confirm that I wished to purchase this policy during the online application and provided full terms and conditions of the policy and requested me to read them before submitting, this is their final response. I do not remember ticking a box online so I think it must of been a preticket boxed I would not of required the insurance as had sick pay benefits from work. Don't know what to do now is it worth emailing them and tell them I do not agree to their decision or do I just take it to the dos or just give up, please help as I don't know what to do now. Thanks michelle0
