Hi everyone, I'm in the process of trying to reclaim HSBC PPI on a loan which was mis-sold, was having a quick read through for some success stories and seems that all those I came across had their claims upheld after only the first letter. I have just been rejected and am preparing to write again but am feeling a little dejected now! Does anyone have any experience of having to contest the first decision with HSBC to make me feel better? Thanks x

    Hi there

Keep at them hun, yes your right, in general the first letters are mainly standard fob off' response, write back and if you still have the copy of your first letter, try to give more details to what you have told them in how you believe you were mis sold, then the usual add you will have to take further action on this matter otherwise, for example the Financial ombudsman service.

Good luck and keep us posted, cheers.;)
