Had a brief call witha guy at Tesco's who stated that my case has been worked on and that i will be getting full refund plu interest on my case.
He quoted the figure of £4513 but i think this may be too low considering the sums i was paying at the time.
I have requested a full breakdown per month on the premiums + simple interest for the period to see how they got to this figure.
Well keep you updated.
Way too low by my calcs  keep at them SunnyK
Successes
Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid
MBNA £3,600 Paid

What were you reclaiming: 2 loans, each consolidating the previous. The first loan started in 2005 second 2006.
• Who was the provider: Lloyds TSB
• How much did you get back: £266, £1300.56 (£1566.56 total)
• Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Sent brief letter and the FSO template questionnaire.
• And then write your brief reclaim tale:After reading so many posts I went ahead and sent off my FSO template questionnaire on the 5th Oct 2011 and received a letter today (21st Dec) saying that they have accepted my complaint and would pay the money into my old account. The letter was dated the 7th of Dec, so logged on to my account and all the money was there, so I transferred the money to my account this evening. What a lovely Christmas present!! Also I would like to add is that I sent a FSO questionnaire for my mum to Lloyds TSB on the 7th Nov 2011 and she received a letter today saying that they have accepted her complaint and £3000 had been paid into her account. All I would like to say is a big thank you to everyone for posting their successes and failed attempts, it made me go ahead with my complaint, to anyone who hasn't complained yet I would suggest you go ahead and do it, there's nothing to lose and it is YOUR money!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS0 -
Hi all
Just delurking to let you know about a letter I received from Tescos Bank on Monday morning offering me a final settlement figure on a ppi claim. I'd done no more than call the Tescos number to register my claim, and that was it!
What were you reclaiming: Loan ppi
Who was the provider: Tesco Bank
How much did you get back: £4977.84 + £1378.55 (8% interest)
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: After a letter based on the MSE template.
And then write your brief reclaim tale: Was originally told that the ppi was required in order for me to get the loan, plus as a public sector employee, I'm already covered by my terms and conditions, so ppi isn't relevant to me.
No specific date for the cheque, just a note saying that that I should pay the final loan repayment in January as normal as this has been taken into account with the offer. Will let you know when I've actually got the cheque in my sweaty little paws!!

After reading your success stories and also several friends being successful I contacted several organisations I have had PPI with, I filled the relevant forms and as I only started this the end of November they are going through the process.
I have to commend Mbna I rang them up quoted the last four digits of my account number (I got this from Equifax) they said I did not have to do anything else within a week I had a letter back to say they were looking into it,within a fortnight I had an offer of nearly £600! within a month I had the cheque thank you for your advice as for the price of a phone call I am going to have a Happy Christmas! THANK YOU !!:j:j:T:T0 -
Me too I put a claim in with Lloyds in September, last week had a letter saying they were upholding my claim, then on Monday morning the money was in my bank account. I also have another two claims in with Lloyds, one with Barclaycars and one with RBS so I hope they get dealt with as quick as the first one
