I cannot believe all your posts went unanswered,i know that these threads are moving very fast at the moment, but that is no excuse for you getting no response at all.
I hope if you need any help in the future you will come back,we do try our best, but sadly on this occasion we have failed miserably.

Hi there
I have not had the chance to read all posts on here yet today, but have you tried your local MP?
Some have been asking their local MP's to contact/write to banks/businessess on their behalf, where with some I note have been helpful.
Remember they will want your vote in time or you may have already voted previously that MP.
Maybe worth a shot if you have not done so yet.
Good luck and hope this is resolved soon x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi I have to share my thanks Martin for your templates for the price of two 1st class stamps I've been successful ! I wrote to nationwide about a loan I'd had six years ago and gained £1,200 back which got me delighted and waiting in anticipation at lloydstsb reply. Lloyds took a bit longer but to my disbelief was worth the wait as last week I had £4,700 offered to me !! Wow you can imagine how I felt and just before Christmas - so a very big thank you - we're just waiting a reply from aa finance now

Haven't posted in a while but a huge WELL DONE to all the winners.
I am waiting on my final claim to be settled. I had a Citifinancial card which I cancelled before Opus took them over. My complaint was sent to Citi but the reply letter putting it on hold for the JR was from Opus. I sent it to the FOS in early March 2011. On 30th September I received a letter from the FOS saying Citi had agreed to refund all my premiums as a "gesture ff goodwil" and had asked for 10 weeks from that date to calculate and process it. Time runs out in 2 days and NOT A WORD further heard. Sooooo frustrating. Keep waiting for the post and NOTHING.0 -
I had various loans and credit cards over the years that I paid PPI on.
When I left my wife, she got rid of all my stuff
How can I get details of my loan account numbers etc?Debt free!!!!!!!!!! :j0 -

So Last week I decided to email Mr Diamond @ Barclays and send a letter off to the customer relations manager explaining why they should overturn their decision.
:rotfl:Funnily enough I received a call from one of his colleagues asking why I thought the decision was wrong - so I went through the whole process again and explained why/how the PPI had been mis-sold. She kindly listened to me and said that she would investigate my complaint in more detail.
Not really holding much hope on this one, however they are looking into the claim - so I must be thankful of that. Keep you posted on the progress. The other 2 claims have a deadline of 14th December, let's see what happens.
ANOTHER UPDATE
Looks like my email to Mr Diamond worked, just received a phone call from a very nice lady to say that they made an error and will be upholding my claim regarding a loan I took out in the late 1990's - to the tune of £1100.00:j  And to top it off it has already been transferred into my account already!0 -

Does anyone know the email address for Citi - Bank of Scotland? Think I'll start getting procative. Still can't find out if Citi or Opus are dealing with the issue, but FOS reply said Citi had agreed to settle it.0
