  • Hi everyone.

What a brilliant website! Im after some information on PPI. I have a loan with a company that use to be called household bank but its now called beneficial finance. The problem is that when i asked to cancel my PPI they said they couldnt has the loan i took out was a (forgive me with the terminology) upfront loader loan, which apparently means the first 2 years you have to pay all the PPI and interest.

I am paying £9000 over 7 years for the PPI. Has anybody got any advice to what i should do. I have made a claim on my PPI which i know means i cant claim but i believe this has still been missold.

    I would appreicate any advice

    Thank you

    Hi there

I think you have a case here, and I would write to them to complain and reclaim all your PPI back with interest etc, check here for more information and a letter template, try to use your own words if you can and add as many reasons in the link that may also occur to you.
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

They have 8 weeks to respond in full, another letter maybe required if not successful or until you receive the final response, they will let you know this and give you further info on the financial ombudsman service if eligible to take your complaint to them if not successful.

Post by recorded delivery and please let us know how you get on, in case any further info/help is required, fingers crossed.;)
