    Hi and welcome

    That is fab, Well done!:T & Congratulations!

That is good to have a choice as not all will give that, so you do what you feel is right for you, however they should still reduce the monthly repayments anyway, otherwise it will be like as if your still paying for the PPI otherwise.
I would contact them and ask about this.;)

  • Got my acknowledgement letter in October for my 2 loans and it stated i would get as reply in 6 weeks,

Anyway with me not being patient i emailed the Chairman last week Mr Doherty, with 2 hours he had personally replied saying he would deal with my query (As to whether it was being upheld) 1 hour after that i had an email from Matthew Brodderick saying yes it was upheld and a breakdown of my figures. Mr Brodderick emailed me today to say the chqs would be sent midday out to me. I’m informing you of this as MBNA are switched on it appears and deal with your queries / emails, the fact they took time to reply goes a long way. Is ay that as im in my 7th week with Lloyds and when i range them today some lady (rather miserable) just said no outcome yet you have to wait 12 weeks. I do not get why it is always the 12th week that Lloyds know anything, they really are just awful at correspondence and customer satisfaction.

One credit card ppi appears to be paid back!

    APR REFUND 598.96
    REBATE REFUND 690.28
    PREMIUM REFUND 1128.40

    Total £2417.64

Is this the breakdown of ppi, 8%, then further interest in ascending order?

I also rang the Halifax today because of TMPP and they said personal loans etc complained about in May are being dealt with as a matter of urgency.
  • Posting a partial success for me. I have had a total refund of £1,162.71 refunded on my Halifax Bank of Scotland credit card. Its been taken back out as a cheque which I should receive soon I expect.

Still waiting on confirmation of how much I am getting back on two Bank of Scotland loans. I will post here again when I receive word.

    :T
