  • I took out a loan in 2004 for 5 years but paid it off a year early in 2008, will HSBC still have a copy of my loan agreement to send me?

They could, write a letter asking for this and enclose £1,they may say they have not got to provide you with this as the loan is closed, but you wont know until you try.

hI all had my first letter from lloyds on 8th sept with my offer and interest till the 5th oct. Have had a second letter same as the first but with the interest up to 28th nov, all of 14.30 interest, surley they could have sent me a cheque quicker than working it all out again. Will Lloyds ever pay out or will we keep getting these letters. Not Happy oggie
  • We eventually got round to claiming out TMPP back from Halifax after mis-selling during our Mortgage application- why did it take us so long! In 8 weeks our claim has been actioned and processed and we are the proud success story of a £15'660 miselling payment. We cannot thank Martin and his team for making this process so easy to do. If you are thinking about doing it all we can say is try and you never know.

Hi big man, I have arrived home today from work and received a letter from Halifax today saying that they are going to payout £12400.00 for mis sold tmp, and send a cheque,
Can I ask you how long it took before you received your cheque as I can't believe this is happening, this could the greatest Xmas ever if this is true
    Thanks in advance

  • Hi Guys

Received our first reclaim today of £1200 from RBS. Of the figure £787 has been repaid direct into our RBS account that was for the PPI but we've still to receive the interest accrued from this which is just short of £500. Is thi the Norm?

Also we had another loan with RBS and we were told that they would look at this one as well but haven't heard anything on it.

It took us 7 week from complaining to getting the good news and a further week and a half to receive this payment, quite prompt under the circumstances.

I'm now going to claim on two RBS credit cards we had as the circumstances are identical and this should hopefully have a positive resolution as well.

    Any thoughts?

Today I received a letter from the financial compensation people along with a cheque for £11,276. I only made my claim 2 weeks ago for a loan I took out in 2007 I just followed the instructions on this board filled out the form and got the cheque. It was so easy and to think I had been stressing over it for so long.

    Thanks MSE
