Hi
Well done!:T & Congratulations all round!:beer:
When you state 2nd template letter, may I ask for what reason?
I don't think there is actually a 2nd template letter as such, but depending on what the issue is I suppose, but below is the steps to the reclaiming guide - in case any of the info you require is enclosed.

Oh and a VERY Merry Xmas to you too. :xmassign:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
One credit card ppi appears to be paid back!
APR REFUND 598.96
REBATE REFUND 690.28
PREMIUM REFUND 1128.40
Total £2417.64
Is this the breakdown of ppi, 8%, then further interest in ascending order?
I also rang the Halifax today because of TMPP and they said personal loans etc complained about in May are being dealt with as a matter of urgency.
Well done to you!:beer::T Congratulations!
I am not sure about the interest side of it, but hopefully someone will be along soon to explain.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Still waiting on confirmation of how much I am getting back on two Bank of Scotland loans. I will post here again when I receive word.

Nw we are in a really tight money situation, been on a self administered DMP for 4 years and have not had a single treat or luxury in this time, so the thought that maybe we could get enough to pay off the last of our debts and actually decorate kids bedrooms etc, is almost too good to be true.
The smaller amount was paid by BACS in October and when I rang to query it was told the larger amount can only be signed off by a manager as its above the usual payout amount, and no timescales can be given.
Rang again today as its my sons 18th next weekend and was trying to juggle money for his present with money for bills etc. Spoke to a lovely NI man called John, who litened patiently to my explanation of my struggles with money and how I' not being greedy but that this money would absolutely transform 'everything', and he promised to speak to finance dept and see what he could do.
Didnt hold out much hope but he rang back within 30 mins to say that the BACS payment was made straightaway and will be in my account by middle of next week. Felt very sorry for the poor man, he was so lovely that I burst into tears lol x
rang with a similar situation earlier in the week. got a call this afternoon saying the BACS had been paid and should appear within 3-5 days :-) almost 6K just in time for Christmas! x:j will let you know when it goes in!! thanks to everyone for your help.:beer:0 -
Hi,
Can anyone advise the telephone number for RBS PPI claims?
Thanks!:)0 -
Yipeeeeeeee
Received a letter today from Bank of Scotland upholding my complaint in full. Repayment of all PPI + interest paid over 7 years @ 6% + 8% standard interest.
It works out to be about £50 more than I had calculated and to be honest I wasn't expecting to get the APR back, but have always had the opinion that you should get it, so that's a bonus
Calculation
Refund of premiums = £4,042.00
Refund of Interest at 6% APR = £ 956.38
Interest at 8%, calculated up until 12 Dec 11 = £1,482.74
TOTAL =£6,481.12
Do not need to send back an acceptance as they are paying by cheque
Complaint submitted 25th August 11, received acknowledgement 3rd Sept 11, they had 16 weeks to decide and it's taken 11 weeks, never had to phone, e mail or pull my hair out
Have to pay tax on 8%
Many, many thanks to Martin and this site that I have been an active member of since August, without which, I wouldn't have had a clue how to go about it.
Special thanks to Di, Amersall, Niggly, Smitchy and Beamerguy for steering me in the right direction you are all stars :T
