  • Ok am wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too excited to keep schtum! Just rang Loans.co.uk for an update & info & have just been told calcs gone to be signed off by a manager for £17098.00!!!!!!!!! I almost fell off my chair at work when he told me!!! Trying (and failing miserably already) not to get toooo excited until it is in our account, but DAMN!!! Was only expecting maybe £5k - £8k max. WHat they do is rather than pay the front loaded PPI amount £8,1000 to GE Money, they're paying it direct to us to do with as we wish!!!!!!! OMFG OMFG OMFGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!! ..............and breathe :-) I have to say in all honesty, I have nothing but good things to say about the poor staff at Loans.co.uk, they have been nothing but extremely polite, helpful and friendly whenever I have spoken to any of them. And I'm not just saying that cause of what they're paying us! One claim (almost) down, now to get going on the ole C/cards!! Good luck to all x
Keep Smiling :D - It makes people wonder what you're up to!!!

I have an offer for a Lloyds credit card ppi for just over £500, and you guessed it I am still waiting. I sent off to a few other provider whom I thought i might have had PPi with, with no joy. One bank I believe said it had no record of the account and it was within 6 years but I have no details other than an account number.
I was wondering, does anyone know if there is a company that charges less than the other for PPi reclaim? I feel I have reached a brick wall with this one but wouldn't mind letting a company have a go for a percentage rather than just giving up - I may not even have had PPI on it.

    Thanks

Just to let you know one phone call to Barclaycard and I found out I'd paid PPI on my Mastercard (but not the Visa!!). Had no idea so I've just filled in the form to complain......well maybe this time next year I might see some money back. Going to revisit some other accounts now, thank you to those who told me not to be lazy and give it another go!

    Hi,

Just a quick message to say I am still waiting for my Lloyds loan redress cheque and received yet another letter to say that I will receive an extra £25 (WOW:() because I have been waiting so long and that the extra interest was calculated until the 28th November so does this mean I will receive my cheque then??

Anyone else received a letter like this???

    Getting fed up now!!

Just wanted to say thank you so much to those who gave me advice when I initially enquired on here about my husband claiming back his PPI.

We sent the forms off at the very end of August. He was sent a letter today, and I couldn't believe my eyes! They are paying us back just short of £12,000. We thought we might get £3,000 and would have been ecstatic with that! I can't explain what this means to us. We are lucky in that he is in the Army so we don't have to worry about housing for now, but we are now going to be well on our way with a deposit for a house when he leaves the Army.

    I keep crying!!!

Thank you all so much for pointing me in the right direction :)

Many congratulations Lastfour, so pleased for you both :T;)
    Successes
    Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid :)
    MBNA £3,600 Paid :)

Hello, I've recieved a letter from BarclayCard stating that my PPI CLAIM was not upheld due to me having my CC over the internet. Is this the end for me or can i do more?

I seem to be the only one not benefitting!

    Hi Nat

To say I am pleased is an understatement. Thank you so much for all your help and encouragement x :T:T:A:A
  • How useless are first plus, they sent us an offer in August, we are still waiting for our cheques, I have made so many phone calls and due to their error as they did not send out the correct form in August we are now being told that it will be a further 6 - 8 before any cheques are sent out, complete joke no one knows what they are doing at all they even told my solicitor that we would be receiving 2 cheques totalling £18k to then tell me that the first loan was done through a broker so they're not responsible, so not 17k at all, I have been told that Mark Jones head of ppi is dealing as a matter of urgency but won't even speak to us or return e-mails, does anyone know the ceo's email address as there will be many people in our situation the banks need taking to task regarding all these delays.
