PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Sent in two PPI questionaires to Halifax in begining of september for Loan and CC PPI.

Just got back three letters from Halifax:
Loan PPI repayment agreed £2098 (had agreemnts so was just what we paid plus interest)
CC PPI repayment agreed £4111 (was expecting 3000 since I couldnt find all old statements)
Cheuqe for £2098 received same day. I assume the CC PPI is paid into the credidcard account.

So happy it went so quick!

They list varying points in the letter that i do not agree to. They say this is their final response and if i am not happy with their decision i need to go through the FOS.

Is it worth me writing to BCT disputing what they say in the letter and asking them to look at my claim again, or should i just go straight to the FOS.

P.S i told them i was a student nurse, surely the ppi would have been useless to me at the time.

Sometimes even a final decision is changed, if you write and ask them to reconsider with the further reasons/information, tell them you strongly believe you were mis sold, despite the reasons on the rejection, you feel your reasons have not been taken into account.

Ask if they will write to you by 14 days, if you hear nothing or the decision stays the same, move on to the FOS.
Unless you want to complain now to the FOS that is entirely up to you.

I have just received a letter from HSBC agreeing to repay my mis sold ppi

I have signed and returned the acceptance. Can anyone tell me please how long before receipt of funds ?? :j
