I have an offer for a Lloyds credit card ppi for just over £500, and you guessed it I am still waiting. I sent off to a few other provider whom I thought i might have had PPi with, with no joy. One bank I believe said it had no record of the account and it was within 6 years but I have no details other than an account number.
I was wondering, does anyone know if there is a company that charges less than the other for PPi reclaim? I feel I have reached a brick wall with this one but wouldn't mind letting a company have a go for a percentage rather than just giving up - I may not even have had PPI on it.
Thanks
Hi, when I phoned up Lloyds a few days ago, they said the Credit Card payment queue was being processed much faster than Loans. My CC redress got paid today 5 weeks after the calculations letter. I have been waiting more than 7 weeks for the Loans payment though.
I wouldn't use a company for PPI reclaim; they won't do anymore (and often much less) than you can do.0 -
Hi to all... I've been following this thread for sometime but a bit too scared to post. I'm hoping someone can help or advice. Submitted a barclaycard ppi claim for a card I applied for in 2002. Rang today and was told this was rejected as I ticked the box and I was given information. I honestly can't remember asking for this plus wouldn't be eligible as was only working for 3 months temping and one of the main criteria was to be in employment 12 months prior.
I ask the lady if she could send me a copy of my application. She then said she can't see it on the system. I'm do not satisfied with their response. I've even found me overdraft ppi application stating ibshould sign n return, yet still i have a policy document saying thanks for taking out overdraft protection. Can anyone help me draft an email to tGe CEO?0 -

Was told they haven’t heard back from First Plus Cardiff yet, and they have no other way of contacting them as they are a retail call centre for Barclays not First Plus? They have said that they will email first plus again to chase cheque... when I told them that they are in breach of their contract as it is now over 8 weeks, they said that the FSA was aware and they have a few days leeway?
I sub sequentially called the FSA and they confirmed they have 96 hours to get the cheque to me or they are definitely in breach.
Are these just more stories??? While the money will be great when it comes, I'm not sure if it's been worth all the sleepless nights to my over the past year.... as I have bipolar what many seem simply like a process to others is hell to me. ...This stuff should come with a warning 'claiming ppi can seriously damage your health'.
I read your posting with interest. I'm waiting to hear back from First + having just signed the offer letter. It says 6-8 weeks. Please do keep me posted on yours. Best of luck."onwards & upwards"0 -
I took out a total of 7 loans ovver 10 years each time consolidating the one new one with the previous outstanding..
Loan provider LloydsTSB
Today i recieved a letter stating they will refund me all of the PPI plus 8% of it on top. My refunded fee is £5510. I still have £3720 owing which when paid off leaves me with £1790. I am debt free for the first time since i was 19... Life is good. I would have been happy with just the £3720 as the monthly repayments were £228. That's £228 a month for me that i haven't had for 7 years (more than 7 but lesser payments)

If we owe these banks what they owe us all and delayed payment, how long do u think it would before a court letter and a visit from bailiffs would be coming. I'll be checking my account again today and sending a few more emails to Lloyds. A relative of mine got her payout 2 weeks after the offer letter. Mine is now 7 and counting, what a joke.
Good luck to all today.0 -
