I used the advice and forms from the website and, after around 11 months wait and with the help of the ombudsman, I have just been offered £4065 back from HSBC.

I would thoroughly recommend using this service and DO IT YOURSELF.

Don't be tempted to use third parties who will take a large portion of YOUR MONEY.

It really is so simple using the advice and information here.

    GO FOR IT!!

    :T

    Excellent!:T Congratulations!

Took a loan out in 2007 with PPI. Due to an inheritance we repaid this in 2008.

Using the advice on here we sent a claim in for miss selling of PPI in May this year.

Barclays wrote to us in August saying their Final Response was NOT to refund us the PPI. We sent the forms to the Ombudsman asking them to look into it. We also asked Barclays for a copy of the call which arrived at the weekend. :money:

Out of the blue today we have received a further Final Response from Barclays saying they have reconsidered the evidence and they agree the policy was not accurately explained (no doubt they have since listened to the call!!) AND offering us a full refund of all the PPI + interest.

Thank you Martin! We love you xx :j:beer::T
    Brilliant!:T Congratulations!

    Hi and welcome

    Well done on the offer!

In regards of the other 2, did you receive the final decisions?

Sometimes even a final decision can be changed within good reason and depending what further info you may have, if you think they missed something or overlooked, tell them that and tell them as a valued customer you understand they will review with the further information you have.
Ask that they get back by 14 days, if you hear nothing by then, or if they do not change the decision, then complaint to the FOS.
However, its up to you if you just want to continue with the FOS now.

Below is the details on how to complain to the FOS?

If the above was final decisions, they should have confirmed if your able to complain to the FOS, and enclose details of the leaflet on how to complain, if they did not do this then surely they should definately relook into your complaints again.

    Good luck.

For the above complaints, did you use a reclaim questionnaire or write letters?
Enclose copies of what you sent if you still have these and enclose copies of the final letters from the banks.

Follow the above link, and there is a complaints questionnaire, or you can ring them (do this over the phone).;)

    Hi Di
My hubby still waiting for his money from BOS the interest is paid up till 05/10/11, what else can we do , he has sent an email to Antonio Osario.
He is worried that annoying the CEO will prevent us from getting our money,is it safe to send an email and ask for a bacs payment and give your account details?
It seems that some people have had their payments that way.
Good luck to everyone who is waiting.
well done to all of you whohave wonxx

    Hiya

Oh I am so sorry your still waiting!!!!:mad:

Do not worry about the CEO, they are receiving high volumes of complaints but its your right to contact them, if they dealt with these sooner then you would not have to keep on.

Contact your local MP, ask him or her to contact/write on your behalf, as they are the government, they should not ignore them, and remember your MP will also want your vote in time to come too.

It may help, give it a go, good luck x;)
