Just a few lines to them,to say you dont accept the decision,because....and then give your reasons.
Please do this,if you were mis sold, they have money that belongs to you.[/QUOTE]
Thanks again, is it best to write to the PPI Customer Relations as on the letter or e-mail.

I would initially do an e mail, give them a couple of days to respond,if they dont, write to them at the address you have.
Good luck and please let me know how you get on.

Thanks amersall, will do the e-mail now. If it wasn't for people like you I would have given up as soon as I received the rejection letter. If you don't mind me asking, because of the info I'm getting on here I wondering if I would have a claim with my C/C. Again with Lloyds but the problem is I have had it for about 20 years and can't remember any of the details as to how and where I took it out. The only mention I can see of PPI is on the account information for payments. I only ever look at the balance owing so never realised I was paying this. Is this grounds for a claim.

I am glad to have helped you :)
Banks rely on consumers not taking a rejection further :D but thanks to this site, people have persued their claim to the end and won
If you have reasons for mis sell on the cc,then you can put a claim in,all you need is the card number.
In cases with credit cards, the ppi is shown as a monthly amount,so it would be hard to say you did not know you had it.

On the other hand, others have had wins with credit cards,so if you have reasons for mis sell, then put a claim in.
  • Hi, I've been reading posts on here for a few weeks now but thought I'd share with you my success and very different experiences from 2 companies.

Back at the begining of May I sent a PPI complaint letter to Lloyds TBS for a loan I had with them. I received a letter from them at the end of Aug to say they had upheld my complaint and that I would receive the figures soon. Figures were posted in a letter dated 16th Sept stating I would receive £4794. I am still waiting for any sign of this payment and judging by the comments on this site I may be waiting for a while!! I am, however, over the moon with the result.

Spurred on by my Lloyds success I wrote to Egg about another loan I took out. I sent them a letter on the 14th Sept and yesterday (26th Oct) I received a letter upholding the complaint, giving me the figures and enclosing a cheque for the full amount, £2555!!!! I was so happy and still smiling now!! :)

So, Egg can sort it out in 6 weeks, from start to finish. Lloyds are on week 25 with my complaint and I am still waiting for my money!!

Okay the only mention of PPI is, your monthly payment must be 2% of your statement balance (min £5, or full balance if less than £5.) or, if more, an amount equal to the total of interest, late payment, the PPI premium on your statement and so on. There is no seperate charge on the transaction and charges section. So does that mean I am not paying PPI if I can't see a charge solely for this
