What were you reclaiming: Misold Loan Protection
    Who was the provider: HSBC
How much did you get back: £1072
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: After one e-mail i got the standard letter back saying it could take four weeks and then a further letter saying it'll be another four weeks; when four weeks was up, i had to phone several times but got home today to a letter saying that my complaint was being upheld and that my branch would be in contact to restructure the rest of my loan repayments.

    result!!!

    Well done Miss Vivienne:D

It has been a fantastic week for wins.........

Keep them coming in folks......:T .

The ones being dealt with by the FOS seems to be quite a few for over the last week, seems like they have taken on more staff, think this was mentioned by someone just recently.
    Great news....... .

  • Just been introduced to this site last month from a friend who works for the banking system, she advised me to claim ppi back as she believes i was mis-sold the ppi on 4 loans from the HSBC, in the past i was classed as a revolver borrower. I have copied your draft claim and sent........

just an update, recieved another letter from hsbc saying that it may take another 4 weeks as there is claims pending prior to mine. keeping my fingers crossed.
  • £5022 won back from Abbey!

Total reclaims now are at £7.5k. Still waiting to hear back from Sainsburys bank about another claim so fingers crossed on that one!!!

  • Hi All,

Although I use this site a lot ive never posted on it so thought I would say Hello and im so happy to hear that so many of you have successfully had your PPI`s refunded. My boyfriend has massive amounts of debt aquired foolishly in his 20`s which has spiralled out of control. We have been together for 2 years and he has just confided in me and asked for my help to try and sort it out. I was absolutely livid that he had PPI on all his credit cards and loans over the last 15-20 years and he didnt even know what it was or that he had paid and was still paying it.
Ive made him call and cancel it on his credit cards/loans of which he has many and im now going to start to reclaim it back for him.
Its given us both great hope and motivation to know we will more than likely get it all refunded as by my estimates it could easily be over £12.000 and that we can then use that to clear much of his debt.
Its Halifax/Capital One/Lloyds TSB/EGG/ so I will let you know how i get on but its comforting to know that there are people on this site we can talk to for moral support.

    Thanks

    :T
