Yeah I had one guy who was hassling my mum on the phone, I spoke to him and told him all I had to do was fill in one form! He was like well its a little more complicated than that!! Oh how I laughed when I told him actually its not as I was able to reclaim 4 times successfully!

Oh wow, my letter was also dated 14th September saying exactly the same thing! I hope they pay me soon as well. :j

I rang them Friday and they couldn't tell me anything extra just payment would be made within 40 days.

Am not having a good day!!! Firstly Nat West tell me that they havent even sent the cheque off yet (its still in the queue etc) even though the 28 working days are up today!!!

Then another set back - its 8 weeks today since we received the offer from First Plus and still no cheque!! The 8 weeks from them receiving the acceptance is up tomorrow and they promised me faithfully that I would have received it by then. I am now awaiting for them to ring me back as the girl who answered the phone is just taking numbers as they are "receiving lots of calls" just now and she said she doesnt know anything. So apparently I have to now wait for this call that will come within 24 hours of me ringing them - I went home at lunchtime too to see if it was there - it had better be here by tomorrow I need it to be clear by Monday!!!

I am still struggling to get through to someone at Natwest!! I had a letter from the FOS saying that Natwest have upheld my complaint and they will write to me with an offer.. They have until the 24 October (FOS wont chase up until this date) to send this but this is the maximum timescale.

Anyone that is getting through to Natwest over the phone, can you confirm the number you use please?

Barclays have just paid me.... checked my account and the money was there! Hurrah. They sent me a letter 14th September saying they would pay within 40 days. Sooooo happy!
