the 8% i recieved with this claim was £551.60p so how much would i pay out of that?

that all depends if you work, how much you earn and your tax code.

but if you work, earn less than £39K with your tax code and your ppi 8% interest payment wont push you above this, the due tax on that amount would be £110.32 but as above poster (than you) call them up on 0845 300 0627 as so many factors will apply and its best not to disclose those here.

  • As the original cheque from Barclays sent (supposedly) 9th september didn't arrive I rang them and emailed CEO. They rang me and said cheque stopped and new one issued. Cheque arrived so I have paid it in and now find it is the stopped cheque. Have now received 2 further cheques, all for the same amount. Trying to find out which one they want me to pay in. Surprisingly when I said i would pay them all in they are now trying to sort it out. Still on hold though!

Don't think they know what they are doing at all.
  • Hi

last week i found out i was successful in claiming back £5000 in PPI, but my question is how long will it take them to pay out? i have conflicting info from them 1 letter saying they will send a cheque and 1 letter saying they will deposit it into my bank account, has anyone been successful with lloyds tsb and how long did it take them to receive the money from the successful claim letter?

    thanks

    Hi Kris,

bit of a tricky one to answer, Lloyds are saying 21-28 working days but some have been waiting alot longer and some have been paid sooner! give them a bell and see what they say..... WELL DONE :j

  • Well well well i am in shock.. I had an egg loan upheld and am awaiting the cheque which i'm told was sent yesterday. The amount i thought it would be for was around £600-800 the actual amount is £4411. To say i am a happy camper is an understatement. I can feel some sun on my back already...Good luck to all who are still waiting including myself and well done to all who have got results today.. and a big thanks to the usual guys on here your support is second to none..cheers
