Hi,

Im wondering if anyone has had a payment from Black Horse? Been waiting for our refund for 4 weeks now i know they have 8 weeks but im just wondering if anyone had an idea if they are likely to hold off till the last minute. Thanks

It's possible Mark.

This confuses me on the wording to be honest, but I would tell them its all jargon to you, and if the policy was explained properly verabally by a staff member.
Tell them if this was discussed with you by a trained member of the bank adviser then you would have know what you were taken out, tell them to what you can recall, nothing of the policy was explained to you which is why you have made a complaint, as you feel it was not sold in your best interest and possibly worthless to you.

Maybe someone else here will understand this part of the wording, and be here to explain soon.

I know lots have made reclaims and been successful, hopefully the ones who had dealings with them will post up soon of their own experience with them, hope your not waiting too long for your money, good luck.

I know it was on the off chance, but did you have any account numbers or details to go off? Or did you just call them up and away you went?

OH has just informed me he had a business loan which hes sure he had PPI on that they insisted he took out to get the loan.

They should have been resolved by 16 weeks, although the news is that this has not been the case, they are still having difficulty in keeping up.
Have you also emailed the customer service team, plus the CEO?

Hi, Had a reply from customer care who are about as much use as a chocolate tea pot, they said could not help due to data protection and to phone them, this I tried to do but after an hour of waiting to be answered gave up as I am disabled.
I am beggining to think they are taking the mick. I need my money back because of a family crisis, I should never have been forced to pay this PPI on my loans as because of illness I cannot work. It is now 20 weeks since I made my complaint.:mad:

Hi Well another day has gone by, sent e-mail to customer care and the CEO but no reply from either, Have they left the building?.

Mum is due to have major heart surgery next month and I need to be able to stay nearby so need this cash that Lloyds TSB took from me eight years ago .

Pretty much the same case as mine. I got the letter (dated 8th/9) on 14/9 , Balance was paid off of the card, on 14/9 (so wiped the card clean getting rid of a huge monthly outgoing:)) and am waiting for the balance to arrive as a cheque.
I think you can ask for all the money as a cheque, but we were happy that the card balance has been cleared.
You may even find that the card has been cleared already. Can you check yourMBNA account online? It's very easy to register.

Hi, congratulations. We waited 23 working days for the money to be paid into my account. Is yours going into your account or are you waiting for a cheque?

I would contact the Financial Service Association (FSA), not to be confused with the FOS, as the FSA expects banks to treat customers fairly and have a lenders code to follow to do this.

Give the FSA a ring, its known sometimes they will contact on your behalf, in your case its an urgent matter, good luck honey and sending love to you and your mother xx
