not had my figures yet, but they have told me they work out how much ppi you have paid, then deduct the amount you have claim, and give you the rest, i sent my signed form back and they got it on the 1st of sept and when i called they said i would have full payment by the 29th of sept, if not i have to ring them and they will give me more compo due to the inconvinience they have already given me a cheque for £25.00 for the conflicting stories i have been told, good luck

  • hi i finally had a response letter from lloyds tsb offering to refund 11362.06 from my ppis they sent the letter on the 16th of aug i rang them straight away and was told it would be quicker if they paid it straight in to my account because of a back logs on chq so i gave them my details and they said it would take a week to a week and a half i called a week later they said it had been processed on the 31st and it would take 5/6 working days still i had nothing so i called back again and was told 22 days then i called again and was told 4 weeks from the 16th aug now they keep saying they cant tell me when but it will be soon it,its very frustrating as it took me 2 years nearly to get them to look in to it in the 1st place any body else having problems with lloyds
  • Claim - LloydsTSB Credit Card & MBNA Credit Card

Action taken with Lloyds - I Rang lloyds on the day they agreed they would start paying out (Back in May) 16 weeks later I get a letter stating my claim was being upheld, signed letter and posted back,1 week later(Yesterday) I got my final reply with monies to be paid into my account (not back on Credit Card)

Action taken With MBNA - Emailed them back in May, Got an email back 4 weeks later stating it was taking longer than they thought to go over my claim, After 6 weeks my claim was upheld- The only downer was that it took them 6 weeks to post chq out after getting letter due to backlog, but a quick email to the CEO sorted that

    Amount Claimned - Lloyds £3,600 - MBNA - £13,700

(Didnt send any letters, emailed and rang, all sorted and very happy. I found all the information I required from the site, including the email address for the MBNA CEO)

I found the best time to get through to loyds was 8am just as they open, otherwise its a 45 min wait on the line

Many thanks for those posting, it really helps a lot as others use the info and by sharing its priceless info.
  • Weird.....have just quickly logged back in to check something on a different account and my loan account balance is now showing as "Account Balance N/A" - any ideas what this means?

Out of curiosity have just checked again and loan is showing again at the lower balance I mentioned earlier. They must be doing something with my account which is good but the figure doesn't seem right at all :(
  • Anyone any idea for the acknowledgement times from FOS,to acknowledge receipt of my paperwork?
    Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
  • Hi, i got mine after around two weeks, an e mail also, once they have everything just sit back and relax,, they stated on mine they aim to resolve in around 3 months but there is very little chance of that im sure.

He have no paperwork for this one. Barclays have repeatedly refused to give them to him due to it being over 6 years. So
cannot tell you the APR or term.

    Dear Forum,
For the above Barclays have offered £8683.90 (includes 8% simple interest) to be paid in 40 working days! I think its wrong!! Hopefully someone on here will help me figure out how it is wrong!

    Hi Littlehenrydog,

They will all be upheld. In providing redress the banks will include all the loans in their calculations. They look at all the loans that you paid off before the end of their term by subsequent loans. The refinancing chain is looked at. I hope this helps.
