good afternoon all, i have been a long time lurker but thought i would share some good news, i have been successful with my bank of scotland reclaim and i am expecting a cheque for £1,316.51 for mis-sold PPI on a number of small loans. to say i'm over the moon is an understatement. just waiting to hear back from MBNA on a virgin credit card (deadline 20th September) and RBS (the ball has just started rolling with this one so they have said they will send an initial reply within the next week).
a big thank you to all the knowledgeable folk who post on this board! xxxx"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. My HSBC refund hit my account today - within 5 days of them processing my acceptance letter (they had it a week before this). Hurrah!
Goodbye career development loan! Good luck to all those still waiting.

Just been on the phone to Barclays as it was now nearly 18 weeks.
Anyway, happens that they sent a letter to me on 31 August (coincidentally exactly when the 16 weeks was up) that never appeared in my letterbox!
Anyway, I'm due £2292.42 within 40 days from 31 August. New letter with full details is on its way out to me! Paying out on 3 loans from 2003, 2007 and 2010.
BOOM!
Oh and thanks for the advice from everyone on here.0 -
Still nothing on my Halifax offer amount, it has been over 3 weeks since i got my acceptance letter, no one is giving me any information over the phone apart from it will take 3 weeks.
Any one else had any luck with them yet?? :mad:0 -

Make sure you get both MBNA and Santander to look at the mis sell for the term of the card you had with both.
Thank you so much I spoke to a man @ MBNA and he has put a complaint in there for me as well, thank you so much again xx0 -

They received my acceptance on the 26th August and originally told me that they hoped to complete it by 13th September.
They have since told me that it would be another 2-3 weeks (when I called on the 9th), so 23-30 September.
You will be waiting a while yet I would imagine.:(I'm a secret crime fighter0
