Hi HSBC have agreed to pay me a whopping 4.5k. Does anyone know how long it takes them to pay up once you accept the offer? Thanks
That is fab, well done!:T & Congratulations!
I think it may vary from one bank to another, but approx 21 days after you receive the offer, maybe 28 days, they should confirm on the phone if you want to double check, good luck xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
The above is just to add that interest rate is per month!!!
This is why some people who have had endless months and years with a high balance on their credit cards have been getting refunds into £20k+
Thanks for thatSo for example on payments of £25.90 (and there is quite a few of these) would i be due interest (if upheld of course) of 0.4169? so due £26.31??

I have just found an even older Goldfish statement from September 2001 clearly showing PPI payment. I've just spoken to the Customer Relations Dept who have reopened my claim yesterday and he said that I should send in a copy of the newly found statement as it will help them calculate the redress!!!
Fingers crossed I might be getting somewhere.
I've also found an old Debenhams Store Card statement again from 2001 showing a PPI payment. Has anyone had any success with them?0 -
morning folks:):) Good luck to all today :T:T:Txx0

Thanks for that

So if the £26.31 is added to your balance you are then getting charged the 1.61% each month until the balance is paid off, and this repeats with every month that ppi is charged to your account.
But what they have to do when working it out is reapply the charge (25.90) to your account, along with any interest charged on this charge(25.90), when they re-apply this to your card, if your account goes into credit, ie they owe you money, you also get 8% interest on this.
This is how working out the credit card ppi redress is soooooo complicated! Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
