thank you
Good question, I am in a similar situation with my loan. Bank has replied saying they are going to pay me back the PPI paid plus interest but just waiting to see what it comes to. I doubt they could change the plan you are on just because of claiming PPI but I'm not sure so sure someone with much better knowledge than me will come along and help0 -

Just thought I would le you all know that I have recieved my first payout from a PPi claim
.......................................42,000.00 from barclaycard :j
I had to re read the letter several times before i understood it. I thought they had made a mistake on placing the decimal point.:rotfl:
I still cant believe it, I am so glad I made the claim and not a company on my behalf as I would have to pay them commission.
Its so easy to do.
Thank you Martin you are an :A
OMG!
Someone call Martin - :money: we have a new poster girl for PPI claims!
That is amazing - get out there and buy yourself something nice!

Halifax have just upheld my claim:j:j on a very small PPI policy running alongside a secured loan. Sent in the letter 1st June 2011 so 3 months. Just a standard letter asking to sign the acceptance and send back. They will on completion send a secon letter with the actual calculations on. They are sticking to the FOS redress guidelines. Now then who can I ask to do the reclaim calcs.:D:D
£1500
Niggly:D:D
if i have worked it out right:D you should get 1500 :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi All,
An Update;
I now am currently awaiting calculations to be carried out on 6 accepted Halifax PPI Complaints. V happy that they have been upheld :j:j:j:j:j:j and have duly signed and sent them back.
Spoke to Halifax today who say they have received the acceptances but have no date or time-scales for the calculations to be completed by. Not too happy with this as i have already waited long enough:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I still have one Halifax complaint awaiting a decision but expect this to be in the same position in a few weeks time, how can they get away with this, it is unacceptable that I or we should be waiting any longer!!
There is no current guideline given by the FOS regarding calculations, just another waiting game now!!!:mad::mad:
On another note it would seem my Barclaycard PPI complaint upheld letter has gone missing in the post-how very strange.... eventually got through to them another is being sent-how convenient.:cool::cool:
Still that's my Friday rant over with, I have indeed still got 6/7 upheld :j:j:j:j:j and one still to be decided upon-looking forward to payment:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:Money Saving-Reclaiming-And Won!!!:j:j:j:j:j
£33,000 refunded!!! :j:j:j:j:j0 -

Same with a personal loan, you can still make an arrangement after mis sell but you will be better off by the balance coming down.
I know NRAM/Northern Rock loans give you the choice of taking off the arrears or having it paid into a bank account of your choice. not sure about MBNA cc though.0 -
