PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

I think people need to be patient and realise it's isn't only them claiming

Bit annoyed today, had upheld letter early August from Black Horse which included figures calculated up to 28th August for interest. Still no payment in bank by Tuesday, so I gave them a call and they said they now have 8 weeks to process payment.
Well, what has annoyed me today is I have had a letter with amended monthly payments (without ppi), so obviously someone is doing something to my account so why can't they just transfer what they owe me?

This card was taken out in 2001!!!!! I have replied requesting full details on the online process via a SAR letter, given them 14 days to reconsider and if they continue to reject, I will be taking to the FOS as I feel adament that this was a miss-sell. Will keep you all posted.

Hi Bev,
Indeed you have good reasons over the pre-ticked box, i hope its their attempt and hoping your go away! but dont! you have good reason over and beyond a pre-ticked box
Even if you have to take the long way round & go to the FOS i wish you the best of luck;):D
Im trying to find the post that had the dates that egg changed its online application as it may help everyone in the same boat:D:p Perfer et obdurai dolor hic tibi proderit olim

Had an offer from Barclaycard 4 August 2011 which was accepted and returned. Should we have heard from them by now? Havent phoned Barclaycard yet but am FEDUPWAITING!!!
Hi Fedupwaiting
See my earlier post - I see very little point in you calling them and being on hold for over an hour only to be given different information each time. My letter was 3rd Aug and they received by signed acceptance on 9th - they are now saying it will take 4-5 working weeks for them to make payments. Apparently, their Finance team have to approve all payments and they cannot/will not advise on the exact date of payment.
Just as fed up as you !!0 -

Halifax have just upheld my claim:j:j on a very small PPI policy running alongside a secured loan. Sent in the letter 1st June 2011 so 3 months. Just a standard letter asking to sign the acceptance and send back. They will on completion send a secon letter with the actual calculations on. They are sticking to the FOS redress guidelines. Now then who can I ask to do the reclaim calcs.:D:D
