Think yourself lucky its been only 15 minutes! I spent all day trying to get them to answer on Wednesday to get through at 5.15pm and told that there has been a "technical problem" and thats why I have not had my refund paid into my bank and no they couldn't give me a date when it would be paid!!

Hi

Hope You get Your money soon :j
I am on holiday for a week, next week so will be wondering all the time if anything has been sent to me. These things do play on the mind.

• Hi

Just thought I would le you all know that I have recieved my first payout from a PPi claim

.......................................42,000.00 from barclaycard :j
I had to re read the letter several times before i understood it. I thought they had made a mistake on placing the decimal point.:rotfl:

I still cant believe it, I am so glad I made the claim and not a company on my behalf as I would have to pay them commission.
Its so easy to do.

Thank you Martin you are an :A

OMG. Finally got my letter today from RBS after putting claim in last August. Result - claim is upheld and offer of over £14,000 refund on my PPI. Posted off the acceptance letter and just have to wait now for the money to go into my bank account. Worth noting that they say they will endeavor to make payment within 28 WORKING days in receipt of acceptance form so that could be 5/6 weeks wait for cash.

Thanks to everyone on here for being so positive and keeping my spirits up. Have persuaded my OH to make a claim on his MBNA card so off we go again!

Will keep you all up to date with date I actually get the cash.

I think everyone has been more than patient in the situation but we all have our breaking point.;)

Is a year patient enough for you?

I think people need to be patient and realise it's isn't only them claiming ;)

Well done to everyone who's winning, since winning back 2 claims I seem to be doing it for everyone I know. Got my Auntie up from Dorset next week bringing 30 years paperwork up and she keeps everything so we are going to spend a day ploughing through it all. Am doing another 4 for myself and lots for my OH and other friends, but am loving doing it as am giving back to everyone what everyone on here has given me. I was a bit concerned about my new claims that I'm doing as was made bankrupt in 2000 due to business stuff and these are loans from before, but have now realised that they were all in my mums name, we were partners so am well happy. Can't wait to post my next success.

• hi all ...just a quick Q which i wonder if anyone can help us with.....we are on a repayment only on our mbna credit card and have been for 2 years since my husband lost his job back in 2009...no interested is added to the card balance...originally before we got on to repayment we had ppi on the card but could not use it and was wondering whether its right to still try a claim for ppi refund or not to bother as it may effect our repayment situation now...they have been very good to us in regards to our situation
thank you
