    Story so far

I have got six ppi claims on the go they were all put in on May of this year
two credit cards and four loans.

I got a letter today from Lloyds TSB saying that they have upheld one of my claims on one of the credit cards.

The card was taken out in 1999 and i paid it off in 2006 and i closed the account.
When i started making my claim on this card Lloyds said that they did not have any record of me paying PPi on this account,so i had to send them a statement with proof that i was paying PPI. :)

If it wasn't for this forum and all the PPi threads the above wouldnt have happened.

So thank you eveyone especially Di
Hang on in there everyone ;)

Ooh that is so wonderful odd socks, glad to hear it and hopefully now the others will follow on, everything crossed.;)

    Well done and Congratulations!

    Your very welcome x:A

    oh well guys

hopefully Royal mail will be very busy over the next few days, delivering us all lots of lovely letters, still waiting for figures from HSBC, wish they took this long to take money from my account, when i owe them money it goes out spot on the day they say, just a shame this never happens when they owe me money:mad:

    Hi Claire

Sorry to hear your still waiting and hope you will receive something in the post soon.
Email the CEO maybe that will shift them, good luck x:)

Can any of the maths geniuses on this site help me with a rough calculation?
I took a loan out for 7 years in january 2008 for £32000
My payments were 485 a month of which 106 was PPI. I am still paying it and PPI is still active and the APR was 7.4%. I have made 44 payments totalling £4624. I have to receive the 8% simple interest plus interest accrued in loan?
I am the parent of a disabled kid and would be grateful if I had a rough figure of what we can expect so a wee holiday can be planned. Thanks again to all you wonderful kind people
  • Came home this evening to a letter from MBNA and was expecting it to be another 'Sorry but we need more time' but instead saw the magic word..UPHELD!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I sent the questionaire 9 weeks ago & called once last week when the 8 weeks were up to be told it will be another 3 weeks,so wasn't expecting to hear anything this week!

I had absolutely no idea what we would get back,if anything so am absolutely delighted with the £1955.00 that they have offered!

Total amount of PPI Premiums: £920.46
Total amount of associated interest: £387.63
Total amount of 8% interest £646.91

Hope to have a cheque within 28 days!:j:j

Had a big grin on my face all evening:D and it's all thanks to you Di, Amersall, Smitchy, Niggly & the rest of you wonderful people on here!:A

Where can i find the address to send the complaint too?

I need to send a ppi complaint too Capital One, Vanquis, Lloyds TSB and Style Finance. All of them credit cards.

Also need the address to send a complaint to Welcome Financial Service - this was a loan.

    Thanks

After reading so many stories of heartache, hard word and frustration on here my claim has been embarrassingly easy. One 2 minute call to Halifax about 3 months ago. I had a letter yesterday saying I'd be getting ALL the PPI I'd paid refunded.

I post this to point out that my loans/claims were well over 6 years ago. I had 6 loans over 5 years from 1999-2004, I had no loan or account numbers when I called, I had no paperwork what so ever. The call I made was a bit of a whim to be honest, you don't ask, you don't get! I have no idea how much I'll be receiving, £10, £100, £1,000???

I just want to say a massive thank you to all the fighters out there who made this possible. Thanks.
