Hello there
Personally myself, I would do do in writing (completing the questionnaire), keep copies in case you need to refer to this again, do not use a claims company, they will end up costing you, if you do this yourself you will get to keep all your refund, plus interest, its rather straight forward and less paperwork involved this way.;)
The reclaim questionnaire as on lloyds site is the same as this one, the address of where to send it to is also on the lloyds site, they currently have 16 weeks from the usual 8 weeks because of the backlog, but they may still resolve by or before then, good luck.

Hi
I have received a letter from Barclaycard regarding my PPI claim (they did write back in June to advsie that they would offer a gesture of goodwill payment by 31st August). The letter I received on 5th August is settling the claim in full - just over £12k I have had my Barclaycard since 1998 and they have averaged the monthly PPI payments at approx £21 and have used this to go back to 1998. The breakdown is as follows:
Refund of PPI Cover £3300
Refund of Interest £7155
8% simple interest per annum £1850
I am SO SO SO happy and I am looking for a cheap holiday :-)
Well done to you!:T:j and Congratulations! a holiday would be nice, hope you find a good bargain one, all the best.:TThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi,
I was pestered by two PPi reclaim companies last year, I mean these guys really took it upon each other to hound me to the point that I almost considered changing my mobile number... However looking into it, I thought no - I can claim the PPi back myself, and so using advice I found on this forum I started the ball rolling to get my PPi back.
Then I sort of forgot about the ball, ... forgot it was in motion, left it alone being too busy with work and moving.
Then out of the blue this Saturday HSBC sent me a letter to say they would be contacting me again in 4 weeks with a settlement figure. :T
I have not been in contact with the FO, nor did I harras HSBC more than once, I simply sent them the letter outlining my disgust and almost 8 months later they are contacting me off their own back.
Is this for real? Pinch me because I feel like I'm dreaming...
It's for real honey, well done and so chuffed for you for doing this yourself, Congratulations and well done!:T:beer::jThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
