Thanks and keep it simple only used the first Template letter and based my claim on the PPI , we were never given the option but now its seems its optional when you check out First PLUS website. We did not need FOS First Plus were very quick to reply. We Wish everyone the same sucesss if you need a copy of my lettter please get in touch.

Just read your success in the sunday paper. You made the news...:T0 -
- What were you reclaiming: Credit Card PPI Mis Sold
- Who was the provider: EGG
- How much did you get back: £1246
- Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Template letter from MSE. They kept me informed along the way by letter but took the full 8 weeks to refund.

Well done mas66! I'm trying to get back a similar sum from Egg on a credit card so good to hear of your success with it!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Has any reclaimed from Blackhorse ??
Hi there
Yes I believe there may have been success too, depending when the finance was taken out (year), as there are also issues if they were regulated/covered or not by either GISC/FSA.
I take it you have issues with these then hun?;)
Not all have been successful though, if you read back on the posts there may be some explanations for it, but there is also a thread in what to do if they were not covered/regulated at the time of taking the finance out.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I have got 8 claims against Blackhorse , which is with a solicitor who is dealing on my behalf ....just wondered if i will ever see the end of it cos its been ongoing for months ...0

I know it feels like it can take forever, how often does your solicitor keep in touch? (if you don't mind me asking that is):o , cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Wow, 9 of them lol:T , well I wish you luck then hun, because right now its even taking months just waiting in the queing system with the financial ombudsman service, some are lucky to have fast tracking, depending on their personal circumstances.
Keep us posted hun and as there is no actual time limit unfortunately goodness knows, but I hope your solicitor really pushes this on for you now.
Fingers crossed for you, and if you require further info, please just give us a shout anytime, its pretty quiet now, but I think later and earlier in the week it will start getting busy again.:D :A xxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
