anyone know how long santander are taking been waiting about 8 weeks now and heard nothing only one email 8 weeks ago

    Traz

You need to chase them, Santander average (for A+L and Abbey loan, at least) seems to be about 1 - 2 weeks

The number for Santander PPI complaints is: 0845 600 6014 and for PPI complaints its option 2 then option 4 then option 2

Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

dont know if this helps you, i put my complaint in by phone on 21st april on the halifax number and got my payout on 20th july, :), but fos was not involved.

Hi jolfc, halifax credit card payouts yeah!! We put complaint in over phone mid may and are still waiting to hear what they say! You are giving us hope!
Can i ask if you had ticked a box for the ppi. The copy of agreement they sent us says we asked for ppi and my oh has signed the bottom of the page. We dont remember ever asking for it but hes signed it so dont have much hope. My oh job terms etc were so good we realise now we would never have been able to claim on the policy.

2 weekss ago i emailed lloyds, i got an email within 2 days saying wait 2 weeks, i emailed on the 13th day and today by email got an answer saying.....

I can confirm that Black Horse are prepared to uphold your PPI complaints. I am awaiting figures from our settlement team, as soon as I have them I will write to you providing full details of our offer.

    Kind regards,

    Geraint Griffiths

It was originally for two loans and these details are what i have if there is enough info and anyone able to play about with some numbers i would appreciate it:

1-1-2006 took out original loan £2000
    25 months
    Amount payable £2744.25
    Monthly payments £109.77
    Apr 35.9%

    PPI £358.32
    APR as aobe
    Total payable £492.00
Amount of monthly ppi repayment £19.68

In 1-5-2006 took out another loan of £3000 repaid the £2000 on loan above

Loan amount £3000 over 37 months
    Total amount payable £4048.54
    Amount of monthly repayment £109.42
    Apr 21.9%

    Ppi info
    Amont of credit £588.55
    37 months
    Total payable £794.39
    £21.47 per month
    Apr 21.9%

    Thanks as usual guys xx

    Loan 1

    19.68 x 4 = 78.72
8% simple on each payment over 68 months = 303.86
The ppi premium £358.32 will have been cancelled. You will have had a refund and the balance goes to next loan. On a 80% rebate a balance = 71.66
8% simple interest on this is £30.56

Total loan 1 gross is £843.12

    Loan 2

    £21.47 x 37 = £794.39
    8% on 63 months = £292.99

    Total loan gross is £1087.38

    Total £1930.50
