    Hiya

    Sorry to hear this.
Hopefully it's not the final decision and they will give you a further opportunity to ask them to reconsider by giving them further info to strengthen the complaint, see what comes back and we can take it from there, but otherwise they will give details of the FOS.

Have you asked them for a copy of the phone recordings?;)

    Thanks Di!

After the phone call this morning I've been really fed up all day. Guess I thought we might get this upheld straight away because it was a 'front loaded' premium.:(

So I'll report back when i get the letter and as I said to Niggly I'm really grateful for all the encouragement and advice from you,Niggly,Amersall and everyone on here....wouldn't have a clue otherwise!!!
  • Hi !!

My loans were July 2002 for 18months or so

then December 2005 - which I replaced with another in Nov 2006 and paid that off in Feb 2008.

So the one in Nov 2005 paid £3100 for just 11 months payments

    Amazing !!

    Hi everyone,

see i told you i would need help soon.:rotfl:

i have just been sorting through old letters ready to send off asking for my agreements using the template letter.

My question is because some are old accounts and have now been taken over by other companys who should i write to e.g abbey and bank of scotland who are now mbna i still have them and are repaying with payplan. So do i write to mbna or originator of the credit cards.

also i took out a loan with hsbc and over the years had a bit more and renewed a couple of times it is now on a managed loan in the template letter i have written this and asked for all agreements is this right.

    thank you in advance:T

I put in a PPI claim to Halifax (credit card), it went to the FOS but yesterday I logged into my online banking and my credit card is £1127 in credit!! I guess that means I've won (have not been advised via post or anything yet either by halifax, solicitor or FOS!!!)
Is this the way it usually works, I would have thought I might have received an offer letter in writing first. Not complaining though, £1000 is very handy at the moment!
