After Sending Only 1 Letter To Fisrt Plus, I Have Received A Very Nice Letter Accepting That The Ppi Was Mis Sold And They Are Refunding £8800 Inc Intrest, Now It Gets Tricky We Borrowed 30k And The Ppi Added Was £7352 After 19 Payments We Wanted To Pay The Loan Back, When The Settlement Letter Came We Still Owed 36k So We Payed Of 30k Still Leaving A Balance Of 6k Since We Have Payed A Further 2.5k,, Now They Are Saying That The Refund Will Pay The Balance Of And We Will Receive 2k, I Replyed If You Are Treating The Ppi As If It Was Never There Then Surely They Should Take Into Consideration The Settlement Figure When We Payed Back 30k ,what Do You Think Please Help Happy But Very Confused, Lol

Wow well done anyway, now the ball seems to be in your court here hun.....:T :beer: :j .

Right, I am not good with maths to be honest lol.....:o , but what you could do is ask them to send you a breakdown of this through the post which they should do if you ask them, but maybe it would be better to ask them in writing, then add them on here or on the PPI reclaim discussion thread where someone will check this out for you.;)

Hi I was wondering if anyone has been trying to reclaim PPI from Sainsburys. I have sent off two letters now the first one was on the 6th November and still havent had any acknowledgement from them.

Do they normally ignore your letters and can I contact the FOS after eight weeks if I havent received any acknowledgement from Sainsburys.

Yes I sent my letters to Sainsbury and Bank of Scotland who deal with the PPI and Bank of Scotland replied and are 4 weeks into their investigation.

Hi folks..... Received cheque for £225.45 from Alliance & Leicester few days ago. Just four weeks after sending first template letter! Thank you!

Received update letter from Woolwich/Barclays saying they would be in touch again within a month. ie. 8 weeks from initial letter sent. Fingers crossed!

Mine claim is with Tesco pf and Bank of Scotland. I received a letter from them after 4 weeks saying that they needed more time and may need over the 8 weeks. I rang the ombudsman for advice and they are writing to them on my behalf and have given me a case number. Good luck

Who was the provider: NatWest
How much did you get back: £6158.13
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Letter

Hi Guys

After 15 weeks I have had confirmation from Natwest that they are accepting 2 out of 3 claims I have made. Grand Total £6158.13!!!!!!

Thanks for all the responses on here as I would never have done it
