Your welcome.;)
Amersall is good at letter's going by the one she posted up the other day for someone on here, but I would make them aware that a valued long term customer you don't feel you've been treated fairly.
The bank have had more than ample time to deal with your case, and you feel badly let down by a business you could trust.
You could also mention that you may be in touch with the local MP if the case is not dealt with promptly (you do not really have to to this but it may help to mention this) and mention the FSA as well if you want to.
Amersall, what do you think hon?
This is the reply after e mail sent to osario,by julieprit2 and her claim has been in since last year.
I appreciate that there is a lot of information on the internet regarding different customer experiences with various financial institutions and it can be frustrating waiting for a response, I can only confirm what our previous communication said and that we are working through complaints in date order and please be assured, we will respond to you as soon as we are able and the latest, 31st August.
Im unable to comment on other customers experiences as each case is assessed on an individual basis.
If i thought the response would be different then i would gladly compose an e mail to send, but dont think it will help xx sorry.0 -

With only 3 weeks to go before the time limit has expired I want to know if my claims are being up held or not!
Does anyone know of an effective way of doing this e.g. emailing the CEO? Does anyone has his email address??0 -
Has anyone had any luck with claiming back PPI on a tesco credit card??
And can anyone help out with the address to send the questionnaire to?
Cheers

Hi guys and gals,
I just wanted to fill you in on the recent progress and strangely enough, hopefully help us to understand why things are going so well!
A package arrived in the post this morning containing a disc with the recordings of my sister's conversations with Norton Finance in 2007.
Why is it that so few of us human beings can stand to hear their own voices on tape/CD? Sadly my poor sister was no exception, so it was quite a challenge to fight back the giggles to watch her squirm as she listened to her own voice on CD. Bless her!
Anyway, the recordings revealed that on applying for the loan, she explained that she had been self-employed for 2 years, and had received DLA for most of her adult life. As proof of income she had to provide award letters confirming DLA, a signed letter of self-certification, along with a bank statement or utility bill as proof of residence.
Admittedly, the agent selling the PPI did point out that the insurers stressed that if her disability had meant that she needed hospital treatment over last year the policy would not be suitable. My sis admitted she hadn't needed hospital treatment for 15 years, as her condition has remained constant for most of her life.
I was a little annoyed that my sister had said yes to having worked at least 16 hours a week for the previous six months, but no further evidence of this had been requested. Her NI records have proven this wasn't the case, but as strange as it sounds, it all sounds above board. The only nitpick I have is that in the first call, the agent told my sis that her APR would be reflective of her situation, yet the second call showed that the APR would be variable. My sister swears she had at least one other conversation with NF where the policy was strongly advised, and she would stand a better chance of being granted the loan if it was purchased. The adjudicator at the FOS doesn't think any further evidence is necessary, but the Ombudsman may ask for the evidence of disability that was sent in the application. I hope you'll forgive me for my ignorance, and we're certainly not complaining, but what is the FOS seeing that we're not?0 -
So gets in an checks the floor, like I have been doing for the past 11 months. Sees I have an HSBC letter and it looks bulky. Nerves kick in now.
Franticly opens the letter and an FOS leaflet falls out. First thought was, rejection. Didn't even read the first page, skipped right to find any figures. Now I was expecting around £2500 but the words in bold said, "we offer you £908.42:(. So mixed emotions at this point. It had been upheld but at a very low refund, or so I thought
.
So I get a grip of myself and read the letter fully, which I should of done in the first place. I still owe £3,088.34 on my account, which has got about a year to run. They have offered to repay that balance and refund me the £908.42 :j:T:rotfl:.
Now don't get me wrong, I was expecting the money in my pocket and was only expecting £2500 with the debt still to pay. Now am debt free and £908 in me bank and I have £280 at my disposal again every month.
Wooo hooo.
They even went back to ppi I didn't even know I had, only small amounts but it all added up.
Can't thank this site enough. Di, on Beagles and on here and you Ammersal..
Hopefull this gives hope to all those waiting on a HSBC desicison.
My complaint went in in October and was delayed due to the JR. I had signed and received a pack all about the policy even though I can't remember doing it. I wasn't allowed to cancel the policy and it was that that prompted me to complain. Silly HSBC, I was willing for them to just stop my £50 payment for the remaining time of the loan and i'd of been happy. Even happier now:)0 -
